MARRIED TO A NERD!

HALDI AND MEHENDI - 2

After some time Anu got up and looked at her mehendi and smiled sweetly. She got a different spark in her after seeing his name on her hands.

She felt a very different feeling.

She blushed hard. She loved this feeling of hers.
Even though he hates her she infatuate his presence around her.

"People say that if the mehendi colour gets dark , so you groom love increases! Will it ever happen? Even if it doesn't. My heart belongs to him."

"Is this what Is called love?"

The function was not over yet. It was time for everyone to dance and enjoy the ceremony.

Anu was seating on a beautiful single couch specially brought for her. Suddenly her hands started to get itching , she started rubbing her hand.

Slowly it stared turning red. Her white hands turned red and got big marks on it. It was hurting Anu alot.

She ran to the basin and stared washing her palms with the cold water. But it was like making it worst.

Warm tears came down from eyes.

Arjun (.p.o.v.)
Ahh that ladies. They enjoyed with me. Nevermind. Now i am just going to wash it all off..it's too sticky . I just hate that Anu for it. She wanted this marriage. Damn !

( AS:- hey you agreed to the marriage....and now your blaming anu for it? Arjun :- oh , you came? What are you doing here? Get out of my story.
AS: -_- bye stfu...)

I was going to the washroom but I heard someone crying i peeked and saw Anu. Wait  Why is she crying? I went to her. She was looking beautiful. I need to admit ofcourse why not.

I appreciate true beauty~ ;)

She saw me and looked at her hand back. I saw it was red and swallowed. I took her hand and kept it under the cold water for a while.

I blowed on her palms suddenly I saw my name on her hands. I don't know how to react exactly but it disappointing me . Because I didn't wanted her to be the one.

Who will write my name on her hand  and claim me her forever.

"Thank you for your care." Anu said with small smile still teary.

"Ah , no need to thank me. I am just trying to make it up to you nothing else."

"What do you mean by that?" She asked out confused.

He signed.

"Actually i was the one who added that powder into your mehendi. It gives itching and rashes.
I did not think that it will affect your skin more .." he said so casually.

She quickly took her hand back and looked at him disbelief. She never thought he would on this level.

Was it like that God is giveing her signs not to marry him? But is already loves him.

"W-Why?" Only this came from her mouth.

He came closer to her and whispered in her ears with his husky voice.

"Because , I like to see you hurt. "

Saying this he smirked at her and left.

Anu was completely shocked . She thought he only hates her for normal things. But what he said just now made her Loose her senses.

She went numb. The iching and all was not now affecting her. It was not even paining.

"I don't know what you think about me ... that you hate me so much ..... But I will change you."

She came out. And saw everybody dancing and enjoying the ceremony. But to notice , it was anu's day to be happy but others enjoyed over her.

She was coming from the crowd who were dancing. Suddenly someone held her arm and started dragging some where.

Anu didn't even bother to look up.

And now Anu and the person who bought her here were in the backyard. Anu looked up to see Smith.

She wasn't expecting him here.

Smith(.p.o.v.)
I was seating at home. Doing nothing just lying ideally. I had nothing inside my head rather than her  "Anu!". Suddenly I got a call.

I picked it up.

*On the phone*

??:- She is here at her mehendi. She is looking pretty. I think you will get better after seeing her. Come if you want !

Replying in a hmm. I went up to get ready.

*End of the call*

I got here and saw many people dancing . But my eyes were searching for that one person. I looked around and that's I saw a little of her.

I tried to reach her through this crowd. I finally held her arm and took her to the  backyard.
I wanted to see her properly.

I sign . I was about to say something when she was looking down. But as I said her name. She looked at me I saw her dried face with tears.

I didn't know what's happening? I got worried that what happened to her.

Then I felt something in my hands I saw me holding her hands. But then I saw her palms she  allergies.

I quickly took her hand near and started scaning about the main problem.

She took her hand back and looked away. She was so unusual today. I wanted to know what happened. Why was she crying.

"What happened Anu? Will you answer me for once? Why were you crying ? Did anyone hurt you? Arjun?" He asked in full of concern.

Anu looked shoot up after he took Arjun's name.

"Why does it matter to you?" She asked folding her arms.

" Because I-- "

Before he could complete something pulled Anu. Who was none other than Arjun!

" What are you doing here? Mom is waiting for you inside. I think we should go ..and Smith please eat and go" Arjun sounded a perfect mean.

Anu couldn't do anything. She was in her own.

Smith face fell and he slowly went inside.

End of Smith(.p.o.v.)

Arjun stood infront of Anu. She wasn't even looking at him.

"What were you doing there? Alone with him ? What if someone would have seen you there? What they must have thought. See we have a reputation don't ruin it." Arjun said being arrogent.

"Like you have maintained it very well." She smirked while shaking her head. And she walked away from him .

He was now angry on ger. But stayed calm.

Mehendi is held a day before the actual wedding, the Mehndi ceremony is a fun-filled, nostalgic sit-down for the bride, her cousins, siblings, friends, aunts and others. This is their day, filled with fun, laughter, songs, dances and games as each sits down for a dollop of Mehndi over their hands and feet.
