HE NEEDS ME

As I saw the caller ID of arjun I confusingly looked at it and moved aside to receive his call. As I clicked the green button he spoke before I could even hello!

"H-Hello..A-Anu....". Hearing his voice I blinked my lashes few times as it was trembling and horror started coming in me. I quickly responded "Arjun? What? What happened? Are you okay----". Before I could continue I heard him saying "p-please save m-me...someone l-locked me h-here...i-i can't b-breathe p-properly...A-Anu..".

My name was the last thing i heard as the phone was declined by him. I hurriedly tried calling him back but no use cause it showed the phone is switched off. I rushed to my manager. "It's an emergency sir I need to go!". He looked at my state and nodded as he was about to ask me what happened but I was already finding a taxi outside.
Soon I found one gladly and I went to his office.

"Can you please speed up the car it's an emergency!". He looked at me through the mirror and said while honking "Mam I am trying but the road is not free".

I dont know when the negative thoughts started filling my mind and his voice keep ringing in my head. I shrugged my thoughts and finally I reached the office i gave all of the money to the driver. I ran to the gatance of the company and the watchman let me in.

But as I entered inside there was no one to be found. As the watchmen who ran behind me said

"Everyone left mam!". I frowned and asked him "what? Why? It's not the timing?".

He nodded and replied "Sir gave them the day off as everyone were gossiping that arjun Sir won his first deal with the international company". I thought for a while and nodded with a forced smile and he walked away as I asked him to go.

I ran towards the elevator but that too wasn't working as the lights were off. I frustratedly pressed the button again and then ran up the stairs to the eleventh floor. I knew I was exhausted but nothing is more important than him right now.

As I gulped my dry throat after reaching the floor I wanted to. I checked his cabin but it was dark and no one was there as I even shouted arjun many times.

I walked out and checked every room on every floor but no use coz there was nothing. I was a crying mess right now not knowing how to save him. I shouted "ARJUN!". And feel on my knees. But then in the silent air where only my breathe, heartbeat was heard, the sound of something falling from the files room was heard by my ear.

I quickly wiped my tears and went there shouting his name trying to know if he's there. I banged on the door many times but no use cause it had a lock on it.

I looked around and saw the metal piece of the wall art. With my force I pulled it out and broke the lock of the door. Finally the door was opened as I entered inside and looked around but saw a figure lying on the ground. I hurried to him and took him on my lap patting his cheek trying to wake him up.

But he couldn't even move, so I just looked around and found a half water bottle so I sprinkled that on his face. He opened his eyes by flickering them.

I smiled but soon he hugged me tight and cried with his trembling scared voice. "M-Mom..please save me ....I-I am scared...please". "I-I am right here arjun d-dont worry baby, i-i will take you out of here soon!". I assured him. I took out my phone and called Loren but his phone was out of coverage. I frustratedly clicked on a contact and as someone picked up immediately.

"Hello anu?".
I know it's Smith,I quickly answered back.

"Smith... Please help me... Arjun.. Arjun he is unconscious here and there is no one here please come fast! ".

"Anu relax.. Wait tell me properly where are you both now?".

"At verma's empire.. Please come fast his breathe is uneven please".

"Ok okay.. Don't panic I am on my way please stay on line anu please wait I will be there soon.. Keep him awake don't let him close his eyes!".

I could hear him driving at most high speed. I looked at Arjun he was barely able to open his eyes and he was sweating badly. Tears won't stop from my eyes as I patted his cheek.

"Arjun please don't close your eyes you will be safe and i am here with you na i will take care of you please don't lose hope please".

I somehow I tried to call the watchmen but no one responded. I finally took him out of the room and i heard some running footsteps .

"ANU!"

"ARJUN!!".

I heard it was Smith and carson i had no energy to shout. My throat was very dry I still managed and tried to reply them but couldn't.
I saw a statue which was heavy but i threw on the floor only to see a expensive thing to break but atleast they both found us.

Carson quickly picked up Arjun on his shoulder as I arjuns hand left mine and my eyes started to close as I saw all lights on and everyone running to us. Finally all was black I knew I lost my consciousness.

"Anu!!!!".
