Chapter 4

Dizel

"I can't believe you guys would drag me from my bed"

"Well,we did that for your own good" Xandra shrugged.

"The annoying thing is that I'm still in my pyjamas...hello...who goes to school in a pyjamas" she complained.

"We will be working in the attic,no one would see you"I stated

"Right! And I think we should take my car" Venus volunteered and we hopped in.

An hour later.

We had arrived at the school's attic and I've started cleaning up items. Okay, this place is way dusty and not so dirty yet littered with a lot of items especially video games which got me wondering why a school's attic would be....my thought got interrupted by the entrance of our class teacher.

"Miss Flora,please tell me that you've brought in some cleaners and we are free to go" Venus begged.

"Nope but two people have volunteered to help you out"

"Really! Does that mean we can go"

"Nahhh...you guys have to finish up your punishment"

"For a crime we didn't commit" I mumbled.

"Aison,Alex...you can come in"

'Ohh gosh,I hope is not who I think it is' I hoped but it was dashed. Right before us stood Aison Reed and his best friend. Right! How am I supposed to concentrate and not mess up.

"I heard the conversation between you guys and the principal so I decided to help"

"So are you saying we are kinda weak?" Xandra frowned.

"Not at all. I couldn't stay all idle at home especially since we weren't given assignments"

"And forcefully I had to come with" Alex frowned.

"Okay,I'll leave you guys to clean it all up. As soon as you are through,you are free to go home. Don't worry about locking it up." Miss Flora countered and left the door slightly opened as she left.

My eyes wandered around until it fell on Aison who was staring at the shelf in front of him. I quickly averted my eyes before anyone would suspect me.

I cleared my throat and that got everyone's attention including his. "Ummm...I will start arranging the shelves starting from the farthest compartment" I said softly and walked away. I wanted to be far away from him before I could do something dumb or say something stupid.

As I arranged the shelves,I could hear them all conversing, with a sigh I continued arranging when I came across a lot of video games... like was this a video shop before our school got built. Still arranging,my hands came in touch with another video and I felt some sort of vibration making me yank my hand backwards which hit another shelf and I let out an "ouch"

"Is everything alright?" Xandra asked.

"Yeah, everything is fine" I replied still nurturing my hand.

"Okay" she countered and whatever they were saying resurfaced.

I mentally pouted before stooping down to pick up that video game and I felt the same vibration which was more electrifying this time

"Jeez!" I exclaimed.

"Are you okay?"Venus asked

"Hmmm...yeah" I managed to mutter as I kept on nurturing my hand. I was preoccupied with nursing my hand that I didn't realize that the four of them had gotten to where I was.
