Chapter 3

Dizel
Today is Friday,ahh..that means tomorrow and next tomorrow are weekends. I'm definitely going to have a free time.
"What's up girlfriends?" Venus greeted as she sat down.

"I'm good" I replied
"I'm fine" Xandra responded.

"So,did you go on the date?" I asked and she nodded happily.

"Yep and it was amazing. We went shopping and sightseeing"

"I thought you guys were going to have dinner" I asked.

"Same thought too but later on I found that he likes shopping so I asked if we could go shopping and he accepted. Maybe I won't break up with him after a week"

"Shhh...class is about to begin" Xandra shushed and Venus zipped her lips with an invincible zip which made me chuckle.

Lessons upon lessons were being taught by various teachers but something spectacular was happening. None of the teachers gave out assignment. I kinda suspect that there is a reason for this.

"I'm suspecting that there is a reason as to why none of the teachers gave us assignments" Xandra spoke as we packed our bags as soon as we heard the closing bell.

"Yeah,me too"I replied

"Gosh guys,they probably wanted us to have a free weekend without distractions.

"Venus, School assignments are never distractions,instead they..."

"Blah,blah,blah..I don't want to hear. Why don't we go shopping right from here"

"No!" Xandra and I exclaimed.

"O-okay but you don't have to catch other people attention before I get your message".

We packed up our bags and about to exit the class while Venus led the way when Johanna roughly pushed Venus back making us to lose our balance and fall to the ground.

"What's your problem?" Venus held as we all stood up.

"How dare you go on the date with Todd after I warned you?"

"Cos you are not my mum" Venus answered in a duh tone.

"You seem to have forgotten that I'm the most popular girl in this school"

"Yeah popular in being a coward"

"I'm not a coward"

"If you are not,then you should have asked Todd to cancel the date not try to intimidate me"

"I don't intimidate,I order"

"Too bad I'm not your loyal dog like those behind you. If you've got nothing tangible to say,my friends and I got to go"

Johanna stared down at Xandra and I as though this was the first time she was seeing us.
"Now I see why you becoming stupid day by day. You moving with dumb people, which makes you dumb"

"Excuse me! The set of dumb people here is you and your minions. You are the most pathetic person have ever seen who tries to be commanding by intimidating others,how pathetic"Xandra spoke unable to contain the anger.

"How dare you..how dare.."

"Shhhh... could you get your wretched ass away, pathetic being" Venus spat.

Anger was written all over her face and she scowled "You are more pathetic. Hello... chasing boys around and selling your self cheaply all because you want to be popular like me,you are a dumb bitch"

"That's it" she screamed and landed a slap on Johanna's cheek which left everyone gasping.
Johanna too was shocked but after regaining from the shock,she landed a slap on Venus' face and so the fight began. Xandra and I attempted to stop them so I grabbed Johanna away,I guess I made the wrong move cos she pushed me roughly and slapped me. Out of anger,I gave her a slap also and pulled her by her top,she raised her other hand to slap me but Xandra was in time to hold her hand.
Right at that moment,our class teacher walked in on us. Johanna started to sob so the woman would buy the thought that we were hurting her.

"Why are you two ganging up against her?"

"Ma,we didn't. She was the one who started the scene"

."I'm sure of what I saw. You guys were ganging up on her"

"No,they weren't. Johanna was the one who pushed me to the walls and started fighting. My friends were preventing a scene from occuring" Venus countered.

"So,you were a part in this. You three are to see the principal immediately"

Without mincing a word we followed her to the principal's door and sat down while she laid down a false accusation.
Soon,she got outside and we were called in.

"You again!" He pointed at Venus who is looking downwards. "You had two detentions this week and now you've committed another offence with your friends who I can't believe they would fight too.
Xandra,you disappointed me and so did you,Dizel. However,I'm going to give you punishments"

  "Pls Sir, don't give me a detention" she pleaded and I nodded too.
He stared at us for a while and stroke his beard.

"Well..I was never going to give you detention"

"Really!!" We exclaimed

"Yes"

"That means we can be on our way"

"Never said you wouldn't be given any punishment"

"But Sir, what punishment is that?" Xandra asked.

"You three will come to school tomorrow"

"Ummm...I remember tomorrow being a weekend not a school day" Venus frowned.

"That's because you girls are going to clean up the attic"

"The school has an attic"Venus asked

"Yes because that where we are going to store some school equipments"

"I don't know but I kinda have this eerie feeling when it comes to attics"

"That's your own problem... however,you guys have to come as early as eight.am"

"Eight.am won't be possible" Venus stated.

"Why not?"

"Cos I will still be sleeping at that time"

The principal leaned closer to his desk. "Then cut your sleep shut" he declared while Venus let out a groan. "Failure to come will generate into suspicion"

"We would definitely come,Sir" I promised.

"But I don't want to... can't we pay someone to clean it up" Venus complained and when it seemed like she wasn't leaving,Xandra and I pulled her by the arms. "Cutting my beauty sleep shut is kinda frustrating and..." She stopped as soon as we got aside and on seeing Aison Reed by the door. My heart made a quick flip before beating quietly.
He smiled at us and we smiled back before I began to walk faster

"Hey! Wait up" Venus heaved.

"Geez,you were really fast all of a sudden"

"Or she was trying to avoid her crush. Y'know that you can't hide your feelings forever"

"I got something to do. I'm heading home. Goodbye" and before they could something else, I raced off.
