Chapter 4

Dizel

"I can't believe that you guys would pull me from bed" Venus groaned.

"We have an attic to clean up" Xandra informed as we pulled her towards my car.

"You didn't even let me change my dress. I'm in a freaking pyjamas"

"No one is staring at you"

"Meanie!" She pointed at me.

"This place is damn dusty" Venus coughed. "Why do they hate us so much to.." she got interupted as our teacher sauntered in.

"Fortunately,two people are here to volunteer" Miss Flora spoke.

"Thanks goodness,now we can take our leave" Venus jumped up happily.

"I never said you can leave. Aison and Alex just wanted to help you girls out. I'll leave you guys to clean this place up,as soon as you are through, quietly take your leave" she spoke and left.

I groaned internally...great, how am I supposed to concentrate when my crush is here.

"Why did you guys volunteer?" Xandra questioned.

"We overhead your conversation with the principal and decided to help you out" Aison spoke softly.

"Are you saying that we are weak?" Xandra brows twitched.

"No,I meant that we had nothing to do at home so we came to volunteer"

"He forced me to come over" Alex frowned.

I fixed my eyes on Aison who was staring at one of the shelves. I quickly looked away reminding myself not to do anything dumb.

"Ummmm...I'll start arranging from the farthest compartment" I coughed aloud before speaking. Without further ado,I moved away.

I could hear them having a conversation and that made me kinda wish I hadn't moved over, however I can't bear the risk of doing something or saying something dumb in front of my crush... Wowww...there are lots of video games in here,I wonder if it was a videogame store before being rebuilt into a school.
I kept on cleaning each videogame with wipes until I got to the last one. As soon as my hands touched it,I felt an electrical vibration,I yanked my hand backwards only to hit another shelf and let out an 'ouch'.

"Is everything ok over there?" Xandra asked.

"Yh..all okay" I replied. The video game had fallen on the floor,so I picked it up in a bid to clean and rearrange it back into the shelf but this time around I felt a more electrical shock tingling my hand. I yanked my hand backwards and hit the shelf resulting into feeling much more. I couldn't help but let out a cry.

"Are you alright?" Venus asked.

"Hmmm...yeah,I am" I spoke softly concentrated on nurturing my hand.

"What happened to your hand?"

I didn't realize that they had come over since I was too busy nurturing my hand.

"Are you alright?" Aison spoke and I looked into eyes,all of a sudden,I started spilling out what was going on.

"Maybe it's broken" Venus countered.

"Doesn't look broken" Aison interjected.

Alex stooped down to check the video game with his eyes scanning around it but his hands were in no way touching the video game.
"The only thing written here is Disney Dangerous Princesses, that's all"

"I haven't heard of such" I frowned.

"Could we forget about it and quickly finish what we came here for. Dizel,put it back on the shelf"Venus spoke impatiently
