Y/ns pov

I rocked the babies back and forth and sighed, I hadn't slept in days, what with the boys not sleeping and all.

"Look I know parents aren't supposed to take shortcuts, but I think this occasion calls for one!" I raised my hands and used my magic to make the babies quiet. Except it just made them giggle. I huffed out a long breath, my hair swaying as it fell into my eyes.

"Honey look what I found!" Wanda walked in with two dummies for the babies in her hands. I smiled and placed them in the babies mouth.

"Look there're asleep!" I whispered but soon the dummies lay on the floor and the babies were crying again. I whimpered.

"SOMEONES ON SLEEP STRIKE!" Our neighbour walked in and grinned

"Who told you?" I asked

"UH MY EARS!" I winced as she yelled. "NEED SOME HELP?" Wanda nodded

"Yes, but be careful of the babies heads, support them, and their backs- you know maybe it's not a good idea." I said, standing in front of the babies cribs.

"Do you want me to... take that again?" Agnes looked over at Wanda, confused.

"W-What?" Wanda asked, faking confusion, but I could see her fear paralysing her.

"Do you want me to-"

"Oh Y/n let her help out!" Wanda smiled

"O-okay dear." I smiled warily and dragged Wanda away from our eavesdropping neighbour. "What was that Wanda?" I asked

"What do you mean?"

"That. With Agnes?"

"Oh she just got confused dear! She's just being neighbourly!" Then she turned on her heels back to Tommy and billy. I followed suit and turned her to look at me,

"Wanda what's happening, what are you not telling me?" I asked even though I knew. I knew. I knew everything. Or at least I think I know everything.

"Nothing dear!" She answered a bit too quickly. I sighed and turned to the boys.

"Wanda, where are the boys?" I asked urgency in my voice.

"What do you mean-?"

"Mummy?" "Mama?"

Two small voices came from behind us and we spun around seeing our little boys as 4 year olds.

"Hey!" I said as Tommy ran into Wandas arms and Billy into mine.

"Oh boy! Kids, they grow up so fast!" I heard Agnes say. I smiled down at Billy and kissed his forehead. Finally! No more crying!

I stood and walked around the sofa sitting on Wanda's lap. I placed my hand on each side of her face and caressed her cheekbone. I felt bad, but I had to. I leaned in and kissed her. I searched her mind, looking to see what she was hiding. Her eyes shot open and she pushed me off her. I bit my lip and didn't meet her gaze.

"I cant believe you Y/n... I just thought..." She let her thought hang in the air like she had added extra brick to the towering wall that had been between us since I read her mind at the talent show. "I'm going to find the boys." I sat on the sofa and chewed on my cuticles-

-I knocked on her door and chewed on my cuticles. The door swung open and Wanda practically fell into my arms. When I pulled away and looked at her there was a weary smile plastered on her face but I could tell it pained her to show any emotion but sadness so soon after his death. Her eyes were puffy and her room was a state there was a dent in her tv remote almost as if she had thrown it at something and there was a crack in the corner of her television which was glitching its way through a Dick Van Dyke episode, the walnut one. I held her close to me as we fell slowly to the floor, silents sobs racked her small body which felt as if it was carved for my hands.
