MIDNIGHT

(Y/N) was stood in his bedroom in the Slytherin Dorms, gazing out of the window and into the eye of the Giant Squid who was floating in front of his window, the two observing each other through the magically treated glass, the Squid's skin then changed from Red to a vibrant purple in colour, causing a smile to come to the vampiric Dimitrescu Boy.

"I wonder if you can do that because of magic?" (Y/N) wondered to himself as the Squid watched him back, then there was a knock on his bedroom door, making him look over toward the door with a raised brow, he looked back to the window and saw the Squid was leaving it's body already gone as it's trailing tentacles drifted away into the dark waters.

(Y/N) then walked toward his door and opened it up, and saw his fellow Slytherin, Abigail Saltstone standing at his door in her nightdress, (Y/N) raised a brow his curiosity was piqued about why she was here this late at night.

"Greetings Abigail, lovely night isn't it?" he asked the smaller, younger girl as she looked up to him with determination in her blue eyes.

"(Y/N), I need your help, please" Abigail said to him quietly, sounding tired and hopeful as she looked up to the much taller young man.

"A young lady sneaking to a man's room in the dead of night, and asking him for help? Pretty sure I read something like this with my Sister, though... that lady was a princess" (Y/N) said to her with a smirk on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest, looking down to the younger girl.

"Take this seriously, I need you to help me stop that little idiot Draco Malfoy!" Abigail whisper-yelled to him, looking frustrated that he wasn't taking this situation seriously.

"What, you actually think that little weasel will go ahead with his stupid duel?" (Y/N) asked her pointedly, sounding annoyed that he was being interrupted from his observations and thoughts over that Blonde haired little weasel.

"I don't know, but seeing how much of a prideful prat he can be, I wouldn't put it past him to do something that stupid to try and get one over on Potter" Abigail said with a sigh as she looked at him with worry.

"Abigail, I'm fairly certain he was simply bluffing, trying to get the Potter boy to go out after hours and get him in trouble or expelled" (Y/N) said to her, trying to reassure the dark haired girl that Malfoy wouldn't be stupid enough to go out after hours and cause trouble for the House.

"I don't want to take than chance and have that brat cost us House points, please, I know him and those thugs won't listen to me, but, if you come along you could make them go back to the Dorms" Abigail said pleadingly as she looked up at (Y/N), trying to give him her cute face to have him help her keep the fools in line.

"Come on Abigail, he's too much of a coward to follow through with that challenge, I bet he's just going to be sat in the Common Room, lounging in a chair like a Cat in front of the fireplace, or asleep in his bed" (Y/N) said to her, not really wanting to waste his night chasing after children like a Nanny.

"Okay then, if he's not in the Common room, you have to come with me and get him back to bed before he causes trouble for Slytherin House" Abigail said to him as she crossed her arms over her chest, giving (Y/N) a look that she thought she would be right.

"And if he's there, like I said he would be? What do I get from this little wager?" (Y/N) asked her curiously as a small smile pulled at his lips.

"I'll let you have some of my blood as an extra midnight snack for the rest of the week" Abigail said to him with confidence, also taking a step toward the taller young man as if daring him to say no.
