Incineroar's POV:

I let go of my owl from the hug after our kiss and I gave a small smile as a final comforting second. Before I could release him so he can go eat the rest of breakfast, I checked my phone to see that one of the boys from my friend gang asked to bring over a small jacket that their girl left behind at last night's party. I leaned back and sighed in annoyance before I texted him back and asked where he'd meet up so I can give him back the coat. Decidueye looked at me with curiosity in his adorable green eyes and said that my friend just left his coat behind. He smiled again at me, oh god that sweet smile, and went back to eating his breakfast. After I already finished my food, I went towards the couch were I left the coat from last night so I wouldn't forget of where it was.

"Hey babe, wanna come with me to drop this off? You don't have to if you wanna stay for a bit."

"No no it's okay! I could take a small walk with you." Decidueye said with a smile as his breakfast was almost finished.

"Alright~ just finish eating and I'll let you know when I'm all set."

After getting ready,

No one POV:

With a red scarf around his lover's neck for warmth, Incineroar left with Decidueye, with the coat over his shoulder, outside to the slightly cold autumn weather.

"Incineroar, I-I'm fine without the scarf. It's cold out."

"Decidueye, no, it's okay. I'm a fire type, I'm good with this kind of weather. I don't want you getting sick." Incineroar said, protectively.

"But Inci! I've been through worse than this." Decidueye said back with a blushing smile.

"Babe, I don't want you to catch a cold in this weather. You're a delicate grass type for peek sake." Incineroar chuckled while holding Decidueye's hand/paw.

Decidueye shrugs at him and kept the scarf on for the sake of Incineroar's scent of autumn honey leaves and spice lingered in the fabric. It was heaven and almost buried his face into it when they had their stops around the road to wait around for Incineroar's friend. The owl's eyes almost looked around the whole place and town as they pass by some shops and human clothing stores. It was weird not having his orange contact lens in his eyes to cover up the pure green Decidueye was born with. Even managing to catch some Pokemon and humans look at him holding hands with their fighter champion. It sorta made him uncomfortable to the bare minimum as he tried to keep his eyes forward from the lingering eyes of fangirling and interest. Decidueye didn't want to believe the faking emotions from other breathing souls around him, not like before. It's what his anxiety friends keep telling him but being the idiot they say he is, Decidueye kept leaping for it. Incineroar can tell of the tension through how tightly Decidueye was holding his hand/paw back and his beautiful green eyes wondering around and keeping them at the ground.

"You okay? You're quiet."

"O-Oh I'm fine, babe. Just not used to be around so many humans and Pokemon at once."

"That's reasonable considering the fact that you've been mostly isolated in a single hospital room for almost a while now and spending time moving in with me, so I get your feelings. BUT, if something IS bothering you and you know what I mean by real anything annoying, you can tell me and I'm gonna stay by your side until that feelings goes away." Incineroar comforts the young owl as his strong arm was wrapped around Decidueye's shoulders.

"Y-yeah, I-I will try to."

"That's my angel." Incineroar says in a comforting way before giving a small whisker kiss to the nose of his non dominant.
