September 12

I was walking to my next class thinking about Luke, when I heard my best friend Julie call my name.

Julie: Alex

Alex: Yeah?

Julie: Don't tell me you were thinking about Luke

Alex: Okay, I was not thinking about Luke

Julie: You do remember he has a girlfriend right, and he's straight

Alex: So am I
Alex: Well, half straight

Julie: *rolls eyes* let's get to class

Julie and Alex walk into their english class and sit in their original seats

Julie catches Alex staring at Luke walking to his seat

Julie: Why don't you just talk to him?

Alex: Yeah, I wouldn't even be able to walk up to him

Julie: Then move on, look around are their any guys or girls you want to go out with?

Alex looks over at Luke

Julie: Other than Luke

Alex: I don't know, um i've always kinda liked Ava

Julie: Good go ask her out

Alex: Now

Julie pushes him out of his chair in ava's direction.

Alex walks up to her and smiles

Ava: Hey, Alex

Alex: Hi

Ava: What ya need

Alex: I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime

Ava: Yeah, i'd love to

Alex: Really, great how about I pick you up tomorrow

Ava: Sounds good

Alex walks back to his seat and next to Julie

Julie: Sooooo?

Alex: I got a date with luke
Alex: I mean Ava

Julie: Yeah, don't do that in front of Ava

Alex: Right

Mrs. Applebaum: All right students, today we are starting our book reports, so find a partner then go to the library and find a one book both of you can read.

Reggie, luke's best friend comes walking up to Julie

Reggie: Hey, Julie wanna be partners

Julie looks at Alex with a pleading look

Alex: Go ahead

Alex got up and started walking to the library when he felt someone touch his shoulder, when he turned around he saw him

Luke: Hey, wanna be my partner

Alex thought "Yeah in more ways than one"

Alex: Yeah

they walked to the library and Alex went grab a book when he felt luke's hand his reaching for the same book.

Luke: Sorry

Alex: You like The Vampire Diaries

Luke: Well, I like the show better but yeah the books are good to

Alex: How many have you read?

Luke: 4 and I don't have the 5th one

Alex: Well this is the fifth one

Luke: Do you wanna do that one?

Alex nodded

They walked out of the library and walked down the hall

Alex: You know I didn't think a popular football player would like The Vampire Diaries.

Luke: Ouch. Well, I love the Vampire Diaries

Alex: And I love-

Alex stopped himself from finishing his sentence

Alex: The Vampire Diaries, yeah that is totally what I was gonna say

Luke chuckled

Luke: So should I come over to your place?

Alex: My place, why would you come to my place?

Luke: to read the book

Alex: Oh yeah, right

Luke: So can i?

Alex: Yeah, i'll text you my address

Luke: You're gonna need my number for that

Alex: Yeah

Alex gives his phone to luke and Luke gives his phone to Alex

Luke: Alright i'll see you tonight

Alex: *whispers* Yeah you will
