It was a frigid day in the ever so gloomy city of Gotham. The streets were loud with the bustle of cars making their way to their destinations, paired with the overlapping voices that added to the busy feel of the urban setting.

Richard was used to this, as he experienced this literally everyday. It comes with being a citizen of a notorious crime infested city. Just like how he was used to Bruce giving him the tasks and files that he found boring or not worth his time. So he wasn't surprised when the he received a file late last night from him. He was actually expecting it since things have been quiet as of late.

Opening the file, he skimmed through the contents.

Subject: Rachel Elizabeth Dare

Parents: Marie Dare (Mother)
Zayn Dare (Father)

Suspicions: May be in league with supposed terrorists Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase on several occasions. Check their respective files for further information.

All of this was dandy and all, but why the fuck does this matter? They only delt with Gotham's problems, usually. All of these kids were active mostly around Long Island.

'Why did I get some file on New Yorkers?' Richard wondered. He probably would've assumed it was some joke if Bruce had a sense of humor.

"Master Richard, dinner is ready." Albert's voice could be heard from behind the oak door. Sighing, the exhausted teenager rose from his swivel chair. Closing the door behind him as he exited the room, he stared down the hall.

It's so silent. The rooms he passed as he made his way to the dining area were countless. What does one do with so much space? Why would someone need so much space? He could swear that he passed atleast four restrooms and like eight guestrooms.

"Look who made it." Sitting poised in a dining chair facing the entrance was the one and only Artemis. A plate was in front of her filled with a slice of some sort of casserole with a small portion of greens as side. Her glass was half empty with some red liquid.

"Why are you here? I thought you were on some stakeout in the east." Dick asked as he sat in the seat opposite hers. "Yeah I was. I finished that mission last night. So now I'm relaxing until Kaldur comes back." She replied, taking a sip from her glass as she leaned back slightly in her seat.

Albert entered the room at that moment, pyrex dish in hand, bringing with him a sweet aroma. He placed the dish in front of Richard gently, the sound of the container colliding with the table could be faintly heard.

"Well lucky you. I have an assignment to interrogate some rich girl. Rachel Dare." A surprised expression spread across the archer's face. "Isn't she the daughter of that guy who keeps wanting to do business with Bruce?"

And that's when it clicked. "So that's why I'm investigating her. I guess I'll have to actually put in an effort into this one." Picking up a fork, Richard started to eat, not shocked that the food tasted amazing.

It was the day of Bruce's annual Christmas Bash. Sounds festive right? Wrong. It was probably the most boring thing at this time of year. The only conversations that were being made were by shallow businesses men that were trying to get a partnership with the playboy or some very talkative heirs and heiresses trying to build relationships with Richard all for the sole purpose if impressing their peers.

The classical music played in the background as the young super scanned the ballroom for the heiress. You would think that her striking red hair would be easily noticed, but alas, it had taken him thirty minutes to locate her. When he did find her, she was being squished by a group of attendants, looking rather stunning in a green dress that complemented her rather pale skintone.

This is where I interrupt. As he slowly approached the crowd, he spoke. "If you'll excuse me, I would like to speak to Miss Dare for a minute." The mass of red curls shifted, and in its places was Rachel's face. "And why do you request my presence Sir?" She looked at him piercingly. Her bright green eyes seemed more intimidating than in the photo that he was given. "Wayne. Richard Wayne."

The crowd around the Dare let out a gasp, which was the usual reaction, the reaction which he expected from Rachel, but her face just stayed neutral.

"I heard that you're an artist, so I'd like to propose a potential collaboration with you."

"So, you're superhero Mister Wayne." Rachel had announced, crossing her legs in her seat, a smug look flashed across her face.

Two minutes of oure silence had passed and Richard was still in shock. Snapping out of whatever trance he was in, he quickly asked, "What's it got to do with you?" "Everything." Was the short answer he got.

"I'm assuming that you're in league with Bruce?" This girl was too clever, honestly. "Again what's it go-" "Everything. I'm going to have to speak with him. And who ever else you work with. This entire situation is bigger than you and me both."

"And that's what happened?" The speedster asked.

"That's what happened." Dick concluded as he flipped down in a sofa near the entrance of the bat cave. "I still don't understand why you allowed a civilian to enter here." Artemis addressed. "Its because the world will be ending a year from now." Rachel announced.

WAIT- WHAT- "You didn't say anything about the world ending!" The redhead sighed. She reached into her purse once more and pulled out a cellphone. She dialed a number and within a minute someone picked up. "Hey Chiron, call a councillor meeting then Iris message me, this is big." After she said those couple words, she ended the call. She then took a seat on the bean bag, looking rather calm doing so. "Um hello! Didn't you say something about the world ending!" Wally exclaimed.

Right then Bruce walked in. "Who called the meeting?" He asked in his overly deep voice. "And what's this about the world ending?"

Before his question could be answered, a strange thing happened. Again. A weird rainbow appeared in front of Rachel, and there seemed to be an image being displayed in it. "What's the matter Red?" A voice asked. She smiled weakly before answering the mysterious person.

"We've got another prophecy. "
