The morning came and Luna made a B-line for the door after breakfast, actually passing the door this time.

Zero and Nikari were waiting for her. Both teens were heavily wrapped in thick winter cloths, while their friend stood in short sleeves.

Nikari immediately started scolding her for not having a jacket to which Luna replied chattery, "Well I'm se-sorry that the sen-snow storm came early." Her teeth clattered. Arms vigorously moved to try and warm herself but it didn't do much for her bare legs and neck.
"Stop trembling so much. Ugh here," Zero muffled from under his scarf. Before any complaints could be heard a large, fuzzy jacket was thrown over her shoulders. She looked up with a half-frozen smile.
"Thanks, Zero."
"Come on you two we have a day off. Let's enjoy it!" Shouted Nika.

As her female counterpart yipped in celebration a sneeze erupted. A grumble followed with her scrunched eyebrows.

A figure started from one of the second-floor windows, puzzled. How could this strange girl be so... naive. The puzzle pieces don't add up. Especially the off-putting aura that suspended his thoughts the night before. And Luna just acted as if it was a bad dream.

Another figure stared at her through the dark of a tree top. Studying the girl and her companions closely.

And then his eyes followed her too, along with a small wave. The cold nipped at him when he stood at the door to escort her safely back to her dorm. To Kaname's dismay: she refused. The reaction he got the previous night tasted irony in his mouth. It bothered him to put it lightly. But he didn't know how to approach this next.

"I still don't understand why you insist Zero stays in the DayClass. He isn't like the other students. One day he'll lose control and someone will end up hurt. Destroying the pacifist ideology you worked so hard for in the process."
Kaname had dug his nails vigorously into the wooden table of the Principals office. He wanted to sort out Zero's problem since the signs were worse than ever. The Dorm Inspection from the previous day, or rather Zero's absence from it, had confirmed his suspicion.

"On that account why aren't all the vampires in Cross Academy in the NightClass? Last I checked there were 2 others besides Zero: both Nikari Minaka and Luna."

Kaien Cross had dreaded the question. He had spoke to Kaname on several occasions regarding the special circumstances that both the girls had.

Nika had no blood lust and had only the smallest spec of powers compared to the other aristocrats, a D-Level vampire. And Luna would never in a million years agree to being a permanent MoonDorm inhabitant- whether enforced or not.

But he knew Kaname would not listen to the white noise he deemed unnecessary.
Kaname left the room swarmed with the nagging feeling, his footsteps leaving echoes in the empty halls.

Kaien knew he had to do something about Zero's problem.

It was a miracle the boy was even able to hold out this long without an attack. The rest of Kaname's accusations concerning the rest of the Dissaplinary Committee was of no concern to him. Although he did wonder- if push came to shove and he had to move the girls to the Moon Dorms - would they fit in with the rest?

He thought back to the call two nights before. Zero had called in a hysteric fit when Luna had informed him of her stay in the Moon Dorms. Maybe, just maybe she'd make her peace with Kaname for the things he'd done.

Luna and Zero had their turns with the scheduled sweep of the
grounds tonight. She would
usually wait for him outside of the boy's dorms, inspecting if the plants guarding the doors
had been recieving enough care. But tonight he was no where to be found.
