"Maddie! You need to get your stuff packed! We're moving tomorrow weather you like it or not!" My mom yelled at me.
Hi. I'm Maddie Baker. I'm 15 years old and I live in New York, New York. Tomorrow we are moving to Nashville, Tennessee and I am NOT excited at all about it. I mean out of all places Nashville! My mom thinks that I am going to love it there but I think I am going to hate it. I hate all things country and I have to leave all of my friends and my boyfriend Luke. We are moving their because mom's new boyfriend lives there. I haven't met him yet but I really could care less about meeting him. My mom and my dad have been divorced scene I was about two years old. I don't really remember him but all I know is that he left us when I was 2 and he hasn't tried even once to contact me. I just don't really care anymore. I guess I might as well start packing.
The Next Morning
I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing. Ugg we're moving today. At least I get to see my boyfriend before we leave. He is going to drive us to the airport.
"Morning! " my mom says as I walk into the kitchen. She is really excited to move.
"You ready?"
"Ya. I guess. Let me go grab the rest of my things. I'll be right back." I go grab my things and take them outside. By the time I get out there Luke was already there and he loaded our stuff into the car. The car ride to the airport was silent. When he dropped us off he unloaded our stuff gave me a hug and told me to call him when we land. Then he left. I'm going to miss him so much.
On The Plane
"Maddie why don't you listen to some of this country music we are going to live in Nashville and I think you might like it." My mom suggested when we were on the plane.
"Fine. I guess I'll listen to some. " Ugg do I really have to. My mom handed me a brand new blue IPod nano with a bunch of country music on it. I put in the ear puds and scrolled through the songs and decided to listen to Cop Car by Keith Urban. It atually wasn't that bad. I found a few other songs I liked by various artists and put them all on a playlist together. After I did that I fell alseep.
After the Plane Landed They are Now on Their Way to Maddie's Mom's Boyfriend's House.
On the way to mom's boyfriend's house I decided to call my boyfriend Luke.
"Hi Luke."
"Hi Maddie. What's up?"
"I just called to tell you that we are in Nashville."
"Cool"
"Not really. I miss you already and I hate it here."
"I'm sorry. So ummm we need to talk."
"Ok. About what?"
"Look so I don't think a long distance relationship is going to work between us so I think we should break up."
"What? We could make it work."
"No we can't. Goodbye Maddie." Then he hung up on me. How could this day get any worse.
