L ,why so distant?

Lights P.O.V
      I slowly opened my eyes and felt someone more a little bit beside me. I looked over and saw a sleeping L.

    'Damn is he cute when he sleeps.'. I thought. I slowly examined the room I was in. There were white walls and a black rug. There was a desk and a dresser on the other wall. He had a night stand right next to his bed. His loser door was open and I could see different shirts and shoes. I heard a buzzing and looked at my phone. My brother Kira was calling me.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Ehh where are you dad's going to hunt you down if you don't get your ass home soon." He said.

"I umm tell him I'll be home a minute please." I told him.
'L please don't hate me for leaving... I love you. I'll be back in a while.' I thought. I got up and got dressed. I didn't bother leaving a note because if he got mad I would tell him what happened tomorrow.

     L's P.O.V

I woke up and looked around. I was kind of upset when I learned that Light had left.

   'Was it just a 1 night stand? Does he even care? Is he telling his friends about what happened last night? Fuck my life.' I thought. I started crying because he

1. Left without telling me.

2. I feel useless.

3. I can't find Near.

    I looked at the time and saw it was only 4:57. So he went to Lights house with Misa. She was a pretty girl. I could tell when I first saw her, that she was adopted.  I need to get Near home. I picked up my phone and dialed his number.
'Hello L.'
"Ahh yes Near. Can you please come home at 5:30. We have to go and see mom."
'But I have a project to do. And besides she doesn't care what we do. She made that pretty clear when she tried to kill all of us.'

"Near I hope you aren't back talking me. I will have Watari go and pick you up."
'Yes I understand L.'

"Glad we settled that." I said and hung up. 'What the hell has gotten into him? He was such a good kid until he met HER. That bitch has turned him"

  "Hey Watari can you drive me over to pick up Near and then take us to the hospital?" I asked him.

   "Yes L. Meet me out side in 2 minutes please." He replied. After 2 minutes I took off and went outside. Watari waved his hand and I walked to the limo. We were rich yes. But I like to use our wealth to become a detective. We got in the car and drove. I think that he had used the tracker on Nears phone to find the house. We came to a tan house it had 2 stories. I walked up to the door and knocked on it. A woman opened the door.

"Can I help you?" She asked. I nodded and said "Yes um is there a white haired boy names Near here?"

"Yes ,why?" She asked

"I am his brother and we need to go somewhere would you be ever so kind to get him, please?" I replied.

"Who is it mother?" I heard the voice of the man I loved. Light yagami.

"Oh hey L.... Can we talk real quick?" He said.

"No I have places to be. With people who care about me." I growled. He looked hurt and looked at the ground.

"L? Its not 5:30 yet what's going on?" He asked politely.

"Seeing hours are almost over. I'm sorry I forgot Near." I said.

He nodded ands said good by to everyone. I looked back and saw Light with tears in his eyes. We drove silently to the hospital. When er got there I saw a familiar doctor come over to us. He was saddened.

"L, Near, Watari... We need to talk. You see your mother... She passed away during noon- noon thirty." He said.
