as the concert was wrapping up you went looking for sero. approaching his dressing room you overhear him and some of the guys talking.

"did you tell y/n yet?" you hear denki ask. sero sighs shaking his head. "I don't know how to tell her. it's been so hard to find the right moment to."

"it's never going to feel like the right moment. just tell her soon, she deserves to know." kirishima says patting him on the shoulder.

"yeah I mean sure what's the worst that could happen." sero says shrugging. "oh wait I know we could break up cause im leaving for a fucking year!"

your heart skips a beat, "you're leaving?"
sero spins back looking at you standing by the door. "y/n, baby..."

shaking your head you walk away. irritation and sadness started to build within you. "y/n! wait." he calls out following you.

"leave me alone hanta." you say looking for somewhere to lock yourself in. running you find a bathroom, locking it you sit on the toilet seat.

why didn't he just tell me that he was leaving?

does he plan on breaking up with me?

wait no, he didn't say that

questions swarmed in your mind over and over.

you could hear sero from a distance calling your name, your phone ringing nonstop.

tears start to prickle down your face.

"y/n, please I can't lose you!"

wiping your face you answer his call. "what." you mumble trying to make it sound like you weren't crying.

"where are you love. I need to talk to you."

"i-" your voice cracked talking to him. "fuck..." you mutter, "I hate crying." you forcibly chuckle.

"sero, why didn't you just tell me. I mean where you just gonna up and leave with no explanation? or tell me on the day you leave? what was your plan sero."

he sighs heart breaking with every sniffle that came from you. his voice softens as he spoke to you, "mi amor, tell me where you are and I'll explain everything to you in person."

hanging up you open the door seeing him not to far away.

"hanta." you say lighty grabbing his attention.

immediately he pulls you into a hug and yall drop to the floor with you in his arms. you couldn't help but cry more. you couldn't understand why you were so emotional.

"baby, no matter what just know you're the love of my life. I'm so sorry I caused you this pain. I didn't mean for you to find out like this." he says pulling away to see your face.

"I couldn't find the right way to tell you and I choked. you just been so happy lately. I couldn't ruin that." he mumbles leaning his head against yours.

closing your eyes you take the moment in before asking your question.

taking a deep breath you look into his eyes holding the hem of his shirt. "how long till you leave?"

hesitant at first he looks away not wanting to look at your face. automatically you knew.

"fuck sero." You mumble starting to cry again. "how long!?"

"a month." he whispers. "hey, hey, hey. it's gonna be okay. we can make this work. we will make this work."

"a month till you leave me for a year." you mutter trying to get yourself together. sero wipes away your tears kissing your forehead.
