Can't believe it has been a year since the book was completed and published!
This story is very close to my heart. My first story that I had the courage to publish.
Celebrating the first anniversary, which is too late🙈, here you go with a bonus chapter!

" With the high profile couple getting married their companies have been merged and the couple will look after the company, henceforth." read Mr. Raheja, Vikram's dad.
" Ah, the news always adds a lot of pressure." Juhi grumbled.
" As if the pressure was never there." Vikram scoffed.
" Oh please Mr. Raheja, you are habituated with this kind of pressure, I am not!" She grumbled.
" Why are you so cranky today?" He asked annoyed.
" You are asking me that! Your phone could not stop blaring in my ears last night and you are asking why could I not sleep!" She glared at him.
" You could have told me!" He exclaimed.
" Since How long have we been sharing a room for, Mr. Raheja? I guess, four months." She replied sassily.
" But.." Vikram was cut off by their father.
" Ok children, enough of quarrelling early in the morning! You quarrel like an old married couple!"
Juhi laughed while Vikram glared at her.
" Come on, dad let's go in and have breakfast. Grumpy you can join as well." Juhi said.
" Whom are you calling Grumpy, huh? As far as I remember you are being grumpy!" He exclaimed but nonetheless followed them inside.
Just then he saw his wife run towards somebody. He hurried inside to see her snuggled to her father's chest. Vikram no longer felt any remorse for anybody be it the Mishra's or his own mother.
Six months of separation from Juhi after Hina Raheja's fall and arrest, his proposal, her acceptance, a year of courtship, keeping that courtship a secret and finally getting married a few months ago and also the pressure to keep their wedding a secret for a few months of solace till Juhi completes her training and joins the office as CEO. It was enough time to forgive and forget.
" Vikram beta, waha kya khade ho? Aao Maa se milne! Lagta hai meri beti khyaal nahi rakhti tumhara vajan kam hua hai!" She rebuked him and her daughter.
( Vikram son, why are you standing there? Come meet mom! Seems like my daughter doesn't look after you, you have lost so much weight!)Juhi gave her mother a subtle glare. She was her mother for crying out loud but ever since her and Vikram got back together, Mrs. Mishra had become more of Vikram's mother!
Mrs. Mishra smirked at Juhi, " You are your dad's princess. So hug him tighter! I have my son to keep me company."
Juhi looked at her father who indeed laughed at the comment.
Vikram hugged Mrs. Mishra and calmly closed his eyes. Everytime he hugged her, he was reminded of his Maa. True to her words Mrs. Mishra had never tried to replace Hina but had slowly built a special space for herself. She had supported him when he had shut down after Hina Raheja had hanged herself on her own birthday.
Yes, wonder why Vikram did not mention his mother? Because Mrs. Hina Raheja, his mother payed for her sins with each passing day in the jail, but when around a year had passed she couldn't bear it, her desire to live succumbed and one night she hanged herself.
