They had built her a nice little cottage within some woods just off the main path. The four had bonded and had become great friends. With a kitchen that had quartz countertops and a complete set of appliances. Her living room had stairs that separated off to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I slept in the master bedroom with its own bathroom. The living room held everything enough to be able to fit 10 people comfortably.
During this time we grew closer and shared laughs, but most of all we became a family. Soon after 5 more people joined. Nihachu, or Niki for short, opened a bakery with her friend Captain Puffy. The 3 others were BadBoyHalo and Skeepy, plus TommyInnit. We became close friends, built homes and would spend long nights together. A family of 8 but we knew that wouldn't be all.
"Are you good with a sword?" Sapnap asked one day randomly, Dream and George had gone out to find wood to help fix Tommys roof.
"Not the best but I am good with a bow." I replied looking through the rubble of TommyInnit's home. During the night Tom's roof fell in taking out most of the inside. Thankfully Tommy had been in my house because he wasn't feeling well.
"Well I was thinking about going up the hill to spar. Do you think you would want to go with me?" He asked. I looked over to him to see that his cheeks were a light red. I nodded my head as he walked over to his bag.
"Good thing I brought everything needed to spar." Sapnap said, but I knew his game. Placing all the things I found in a nearby chest, I followed him up a random hill. To my surprise at the top there was a nice and even circle dug into the ground. When I was little me and my mom would pretend to fight with carrots in the garden. In the process my aunt had visited.
She would tell stories about battle and how many she had slain. Every battle, a new scar and a new tattoo. I had always wanted one. One time on her visits she showed me a tattoo that was a crown on her ankle. She had gotten it done for my brother, because he was our family's king. Knowing well enough of her travels she took me to teach me simple basics on the sword.
Sapnap threw me a sword, catching in one hand by the hilt I got into stance. It was a simple sword, with enchantment engravings, probably healing so that way the cuts wouldn't be too bad. Smart. He was in his stance but soon charged for me. He swung at my left but I dodged, I blocked his swing to my right and countered it with a swing to his feet, but it was blocked.
We did this for a good hour and a half until we had no water and sweat soaked us. As we began to clean up Sapnap complimented my tactics.
"Thanks, my aunt was a noble fighter and would teach me every now and then." I replied to the comment blushing a bit. I began to reach for the sword on the ground but Sapnap tripped over himself bumping into me. Out of instinct I closed my hand around the nearest object. The sharp material of the sword cut through my hand causing a thin line of blood to trickle. Thanks to the healing enchantment the cut was minor. I winced in pain.
"Oh no! Tunes I'm so sorry I didn't mean to!" Sapnap rushed on.
"No, no you're just fine! Don't worry it will heal all up thanks to the enchantments you added to the sword." I said complimenting him and rubbing my palm onto the grass. The wound was clean, and it wasn't his fault that it happened.
"You sure?" He asked.
"I'm sure." I replied.
He slung his pack over his shoulder and we started to walk down to the main path, or Prime Path as Tommy calls it. In comfortable silence we waved our goodbyes and I walked into my house. Walking into the shower I cleaned off the sweat and went to bed. I awoke to the sun shining in my eyes through the window.
I felt as if I didn't sleep at all, to be honest I felt like I just got into bed. Begrudgingly though, I climbed to my feet changing into my normal outfit. Here in the Greater SMP we pretty much wore the same clothes, the only time it was different was if we had an event to attend. I walked out of my house biting a chunk out of an apple. My bow slung over my right shoulder with the arrows stored on a hilt on my left thigh. It was comfortable and it made easy access to the arrows.
I walked on the path going nowhere in particular when I stumbled into someone, or fell onto someone. It was fast and rapid, one moment I was turning the corner the next I collided with an unknown object. I rubbed my right arm and started to climb to my feet. Before I fell, there was a blur of yellow and brown. A new pair of hands grabbed my shoulders and started brushing them off. It was strange but these hands were different. I looked at who they belonged to. A male adult about 20 years old. He had brown long curly hair sprouting under a light brown beanie. He had a yellow knit sweater and simple brown cargo pants. He surprised me at first but I got used to him.
He had a nice jawline but not as sharp as Sapnaps. He had the darker brown eyes then Sapnap had. He was.... I couldn't explain it but when his eyes met mine I felt nauseous? I looked away and made sure I still had all my arrows.
"Are you okay?" A british accent asked me,
"I'm just fine, but I am truly sorry I should've been watching where I was going." I said waving my hands in apology.
"No no, I feel that we are both at fault in this incident." He replied back giving a full hardy laugh. There it was again that feeling of needing to throw up. I quickly introduced myself and stuck out my hand.
"Nice to meet you Brighton Blue, or Tunes, I should say. I am Wilbur Soot." Wilbur replied. He gave me a smile and shook my hand eagerly. His hands were smooth against mine unlike my calloused fingertips. But he didn't seem to mind the roughness of them against his hand, usually people would flinch from the scrap but he didn't bother the feeling. I smiled at that and let go of his hand.
"So Wilbur, what have you come to live this way?" I asked him to move to the side of the path.
"Well you may know my brother, TommyInnit?" He asked me, I nodded my head in fondness of the young boy. "Good, that's good because you can show me where to find him. But anyways, I came to find a place to reside my caravan at." I looked at him questioningly thinking this was a joke.
"Well I can take you to his base if you want." I asked him to turn to the left hoping he was willing to take a walk with me. He nodded.
"I would very much enjoy that." He said. As we walked we came to know each other better. He was in fact 20 turning 21 in a month. The reason he was looking for his brother, Tommy, was due to the fact that he wanted to become closer. As to have been seen as the role model for Tommy for years when Tommy lived at home.
"Here we are." I said to him because there, there he was, in front of Tommy's doorway on the side of a hill. I looked over to Wilbur, he looked nervous, his hands to his side fidgeting with the hem of his sweater. I sighed out loud and walked to the door. As I reached out my hand Wilbur stepped forward. He stood up straight and stood behind me and to the side. I looked over at him before my hand got ready to knock on the hardwood. He nodded his head towards me. My knuckles raped against the wood three times, I put my arm down and stepped back to stand on the side of Wilbur.
We waited a couple seconds until we heard the clamoring behind the door. I chuckled under my breath and looked at Wilbur. We both shrugged at one another. The door was flung open swinging fully open, nearly taking me out.
"Tubbo, I told you it's not a good time..." Tommy interrupted himself taking a double take of his brother. Tubbo moved in about three months ago, he is Tommy's best friend and are practically inseparable. "Wilbur..." Tommy said under his breath as I stepped back. Tom ran to Wilbur flinging himself over the taller boy. I felt happy and gave a small smile.
TommyInnit started talking rapidly, the two sharing stories. I felt displaced and turned around starting to walk away.
"Hey Tunes!" I turned around to see Wilbur coming up to me with Tommy in tow. "Thank you for finding him." He said, reaching out to give me a hug. I happily obliged and quickly gave him a hug. He and Tom waved goodbye as I walked away from the pair. I felt happy for them, mainly because Tommy was slowly just attaching himself to others.
I continued down the path when I saw smoke coming from the nearby forest. I quickly ran to see what was happening, filling up my bucket in a nearby pond. I put the bucket away and covered my mouth as the smoke started to reach the body of water. I tied a red bandana around my face to make sure I did not get too affected by the smoke. I approached the edge of the smoke and wiped out a torch. The fire on the end made my arm heat up, but I pushed forward.
Tears groaned under my eyes as the smoke hurt my now dry eyes. I continued to push forward. The crack from bark sent sparks to once non burning sections of the forest. Pushing forward I could recall how small this once dense forest was before Tubbo needed to build a house. This fire could burn for a long time, but be contained to a small area.
I hear cries of fear and pain to the left of myself. I ran through the forest when I saw a slaughtered bear and its cubs sitting in an open space. I felt a tear sting down my face. Ripping my eyes to the wound I saw an arrow sticking out. I reached forward and yanked it out of the carcass. I ran my hand around the base of the feathers. Their sat etchings with some type of writing on the inside. I could recognize some of the letterings. Pillager. I got out of my squatting position and tuned out all the cackling. I stood still constantly moving my eyes to see to my sides along with my front.
I heard a crack to my left and I whipped around prepping an arrow into the string of my bow. I kept it at my side ready for action. I slowed my breathing until I saw an elbow peek out from behind a pillar of fire. I picked my bow up to my cheek aiming for the tree. But all of a sudden before I could react, A foot hit the back of my knee causing me to fall to my knees. From the push of me going down my bow landed near me and my arrow bounced into the fire. I reached for my bow, but a foot kicked it into the fire.
"No!" I screeched as a tear fell down my face. The bandana slipped and landed wrapped around my neck. The spring from my weapon snapped causing a sound of a harp coming from the fire. I felt hopeless. My only way for getting out of this was gone. My thoughts went hazy causing me to not notice as a green hooded man was pushed to the ground next to me, along with a man with a bandana and a head of hair with goggles. One more fell grunting on impact snapping me out of it. This man had a golden blonde. He had a white sweatshirt with a golden chain. He had ice blue eyes and a jawline that could cut through meat.
I looked over to see Sapnap, George, and Dream next to me. I looked back over to where my bow was sending large blue flames into the mix of red and orange flames. At the corner of my eyes I could see Dreams white maske look over at me with a crack in the smile. I would not look over as the last of the blue flames died out leaving a charred stick on the ground. The string still stuck out with the round metal pendant on the end.
As if knowing exactly what I was looking at, Dream looked over and bowed his head down in respect. That bow was my fathers. Clay understood that more than anyone else in my life. Pain and anger gripped at my heart. Remembering the small hand knife I had strapped on my ankle, I slowly and carefully grabbed it from under my pants. The Pillagers arrows clicked. I looked over at Dream and he motioned to me the rope bound around his wrists. And as he motioned a Pillager came forward with rope for my own wrists. As he began to slide the frayed rope against my skin I snapped and turned, stabbing his left eye. In a flash red now tinted the once clean silverblade. The Pillagers launched at me but as a counter attack I rolled to the ground grabbing the sword from Sapnaps back. I slashed and swung at some of the Pillagers. Their limp bodies faded into the smoke. I breathed in deeply, heaving from the smoke in my lungs.
"Tunes, thank heavens." George said. But he may have said it too soon because I could hear angered Pillagers on their way. I quickly bent down and cut the rope around each of the boys' wrists. They all got up, readjusting their clothing and brushing off dirt.
"I'm Punz by the way." The sharp jawline man said to me.
"Tunes." I said through pants. Dream came forward grabbing my arm to show my blood at the bicep. I unwrapped the handkerchief and wrapped it around the wound. "I'll be fine" I said to his worried stance. We all looked over to see Pillagers rapidly approaching. "Run!" I yelled to the men as we all darted into the flames from a nearby tree. We ran and ran will we panted with one another.
Arrows started to fly through the sky. Before we knew it we reached the end of the treeline to an open area. On the other side was a dense forest, within those trees was Tubbo's house, safety. We all quickened our pace, arrows bounced off of rocks and stuck into the grass. I turned around to see an arrow fly past my head.
"Tunes! Some on!" Punz yelled at me. I turned around to see that they were much further ahead than me now. I began to run faster, I noticed the glint of their diamond armor on them which left me armor less of the group.
I was a couple of 100 feet from the trees and they were just reaching the border. Fallen trees aligned around the trees. 30 feet. They had just gotten through. All of a sudden I felt a pain in my left calf. I looked down to see the point of an arrowhead peeking out of my pants. I shrieked in pain but not loud enough for the four men ahead of me to hear. Collapsing to the ground I started to crawl to the line of trees. My vision became blotchy as arrows continued to rain down in the sky.
Grunting in pain, I tried to let a scream escape but it got drowned in a tear. I looked all over for cover and saw an uprooted tree a good 10 feet from the tree line. Only 28 feet to go until I reach it. With all I had I went faster, 10 feet away from the tree, 20 from the safety of the trees. I looked up to see the guys starting to slow down a bit from exhaustion. But the adrenaline in my veins pumped faster and faster. I turned to look if arrows still ran from the sky.
An arrow whizzed towards my head, I rolled to my left forgetting about the arrow. It pushed farther into my leg earning a good scream to escape my mouth. I reached for one of the roots of the tree, grabbing it and pulling myself to the tree. The four guys all turned around to my scream. They began to run to me. I continued on and got behind the tree. I grunted in pain and relief.
I looked up to see Dream run out of the protection of the trees, the other three men tried to stop him but were too late. Dream took a potion out of his pocket and gave it to me. I looked at him as I started to slip.
"Tunes, stay with me. Please." Dream said over and over. He asked another question but I couldn't hear it. I nodded my head but it must have not been a good reply because he looked frantic trying to keep my eyes open for him. The pain got to me and I let go.
I opened my eyes to be suspended in the air in a void.
"Brighton Blue. Player 2 3 0 9 6." A womens automated voice said out of nowhere. "Has died from a wound." She said, "Hello Tunes, would you like to respawn or quit?" That part confused me most of all.
"What do you mean?" I asked the strange voice.
"Brighton Blue. Player 2 3 0 9 6." She repeated. "Has died from a wound. Hello Tunes, Would you like to respawn or quit?"
I thought for a second thinking about what she had said after my name. "Player 2 3 0 9 6?" I asked outloud to myself.
"Player 2 3 0 9 6. Logging in to Brighton Blue files." The ladies' voice started to glitch out at the last part. All of a sudden the void started to break around me and I fell. Not the good type. The type where you never stop. After a good amount of time, it all stopped and I felt like I was pushed into a white room.
My stomach turned from the feeling.
"Welcome, Player 2 3 0 9 6." This time a male voice said my name, but he sounded distorted and broken. "Would you like to view files on the Greater Dream SMP?" His glitched voice would haunt anyone's dreams.
"Y-yes." I said out of breath and scared. Before I knew it the white room glitched and a file cabinet apperad. Alone, broken and rusty. I walked over to see shelfs with different years listed. I reached forward to open it but the handle burned my flesh. I backed away and shook my hand.
"Player 2 3 0 9 6, does not have access to these files." The voice said. "Respawning player 2 years into the future." Before I knew it I was grabbed by some arms and forced down to my knees. I screamed out about this force, suddenly a cold metal was pressed on my head and another pair of hands placed freezing metal tablets onto my temples. I screamed and thrashed. Suddenly my vision went blurry.
