Poguelandia- a jiara story

Chapter 1

Kiaras POV~

Well. This is not how the plan was supposed to go.

We are all stuck on a deserted island with no food or fresh water and nowhere to go.

I am just sitting on the beach while everyone else is sitting by a fire up near the palm trees. I'm just trying to comprehend all that happened today. Jj almost died, Ward is alive and we lost the cross. I can't believe we almost lost jj. I don't know what we would do without him.

My thoughts are interrupted when I hear the sand crunching underneath someones feet. I keep looking out towards the water when someone sits next to me on the sand. I turn my head and it's jj.

I find myself staring at him as he looks out at the breaking waves. His blonde hair is very messy as there is a bunch of salt water making it spike out a little bit. His blue eyes are very bright in the moonlight. He is also shirtless because we all tried to dry our clothes as much as possible.

He turns back towards me and we lock eyes giving me an unknown feeling in my stomach. He smiles a little bit and tilts his head. I furrow my eyebrows and look at him with a confused look on my face.

"What?" I question jj.
"I'm just trying to figure you out."
"What is there to figure out?" I chuckle.
"I don't know you just kind of looked like you were lost in your head."

I look back out at the water as he tried to read me. He has a good skill of knowing when something is wrong.

"I mean, a lot has happened in the past 24 hours. I'm just thinking." I say.
"Are you ok though?" I turn back to look at him and lock eyes yet again.

No one has ever asked me that before.

"I think so, yea." I nod with a little smile to convince him.
"You can always come to me for anything. Especially if you want to help me with our flag for poquelandia." He says with a smirk.

I laugh and lay back down on the sand looking up at the stars. I hear jj lay down next to me.

"I will help you with your flag if you want jj." I say with a chuckle.
"Good. I'll probably need it."

We sit there for a little bit just looking up at the stars. He ruins the silence.
"Do you think someone will find us?" He asks quietly but just loud enough for me to hear.
"Maybe. I don't know how long until that happens though. We don't even know where in the Atlantic Ocean we are."
"I hope we can stay here forever. Eat fish everyday and spend time with my family 24/7"
"That would be nice wouldn't it?"
"Yea it would" he replies.

We lay in silence as I start to doze off into sleep. I think jj thinks I'm already asleep because I hear him shuffling around. I thought he was leaving until I feel his head lay on my chest. His arm wraps around my waist and he cuddles in close to me.
I hear him very quietly whisper, "Goodnight Kiara."

Goodnight jj.
