The Team 3

Chapter 10

Steve and the others were about to be in Wakanda. Steve had left Willa's side for just a moment to talk to Sam about how they were pretty much there.

Willa slowly began to wake up and as she looked around, she noticed she wasnt in her hideout.

Without even thinking she shot up quickly and started rocking the Quinjet with the wind moving it off course.

"Willa! Stop!" Rhodey yells at her.

"No!" Willa says.

She moved it even more knocking those standing in the jet down. That was when she kept the wind moving the jet as she then jumped on Sam trying to get the controls.

"Willa! Get off of me!" Sam yells.

"Take me back! Take me back now! Willa is not allowed to leave!" Willa yells at him.

"Willa stop you're going to kill us all." Steve says grabbing her off of Sam.

"So what. Who cares." Willa says.

Her voice sounding very broken and sad. Wanda got an idea. So with her powers she was blocking all Willa's thoughts and making it dark so she was unable to do any of that again.

"I wont be able to old her in much longer. She's a fighter." Wanda says.

But they had luckily made it into Wakanda and were able to land without Willa lashing out again.

Wanda had let Willa free and she was once again about to attack Sam for this time no reason.

"Willa, stop it. You're okay now. You're with us, you're safe." Steve says making her look at him.

She slapped his hand away from her and shoved him away. She tired to get past the others, but Rhodey grabbed her arm.

"Come on lets go." Steve says.

He couldnt believe Willa had just shoved him away from her. She has never done that. She must be remembering that he left her and blaming him for her losing herself. But he couldnt think about that now. He had a job to do.

As Steve and Natasha got out of the jet first, followed by Sam. Rhodey had a slight tight grip on Willa's arm as he made her leave the jet as well.

"Should we bow?" Bruce asks Rhodey.

"Yeah, he's a king." Rhodey says to him.

"Seems like Im always thanking you for something." Steve says shaking T'Challa's hand.

Right after he did that Bruce cleared his throat and bowed to T'Challa.

"What are you doing?" Rhodey asks.

"Uh, we dont do that here." T'Challa tells Bruce.

As they began to talk about how big of an assault was on its way. Slowly Willa was slightly coming to her own. But she had developed a twitching eye. After all she has had human interaction in quite some time.

T'Challa was telling them what kind of help that had one being the best friend of Steve Rogers.

Sam, Rhodey, and Bucky all staid outside while the others went in. Nat was now the one keeping a watch on Willa.

As they were discussing how long they would have to get Vision free from the stone. Nat seemed to notice Willa's eye twitch. And she wasnt the only one, Steve saw it too.

But now they had a problem something was very close to coming. Willa had decided to elbow Nat's side and rushed out of the room.

They had to move quickly because whats coming is coming fast. Steve though decided to find Willa. He needed her help, he knew they did.

When he did find her was sitting against a wall having a major break down. She was crying and shaking.

"Willa? Hey its okay." Steve says.

He sat beside her and gently placed his hand on her leg.

"Dont touch me." Willa says with shakiness in her voice.

"I dont want to hurt you. I dont want to hurt anyone." Willa says.

"Hey, no you wont hurt me. You wont hurt anyone. Thats not who you are." Steve says.

"You dont understand. I have hurt people. When I saved Pepper, I lost control and someone was killed.. I killed it was my fault. He was right. Ugh.. He was right." Willa says.

"Wills I dont understand what are you about? Saved Pepper? And who was right?" Steve asks.

"Dad. He said I was a monster because I told him that it was HYDRA's fault and not Bucky's. He called me a monster and told me he was sending me back to the prison for being one." Willa says her hands shaking.

"And I.. I... I killed protecting Pepper. Making the monster true." Willa says.

She hid her face in her shaky hands and was clearly scared of herself. Steve looked her and noticed she still had the necklace he dad gave her on, but also the bracelet he gave her on.

He gently took her hands from her face and held them in his own. He made the decision to even place small kisses on her knuckles. He would do anything to calm her down.

"Willa, your dad was just upset. Im sure he didnt mean it. Because you arent a monster. And if you had to kill someone to protect the woman who raised you. Then Im pretty sure that was allowed." Steve says still kissing her hands.

"There was another way Steve. And I chose to kill." Willa says.

"Please, tell me what happened." Steve says.

Willa looked at him and decided not to tell him out loud, but to whisper it in his ear instead.

"Oh.. Wow.. Willa I am so sorry I wasnt there to help you. And you had ever reason to do what you did. I wish I could of helped you after that. No wonder you lost it. But you arent a monster." Steve says.

"How do you know that?" Willa says.

"Because I know you and your good heart. And Im telling you after all this I wont be living you again." Steve says.

He placed his forehead on hers just to make her feel better. Feel safer. She looked at him and it was as if she felt like herself again. Something she was missing for so long. They both leaned closer to each other....

"Hey I know its been some time, but we have a bunch of Aliens on their way to come take Vision's stone, and wipe out half of the universe. So you two are going to have to wait on this friend romance thing." Nat says.

Well she isnt wrong. There are aliens coming so maybe Steve and Willa should hold off on this little love reunion.
