"Those who would join the legendary heroes in rising against the Waves have gathered here." Aultcray said as we entered the room. Ei looked at the 'adventurers' in front of them and it seemed that only some are experienced in combat

"Now, future heroes, your journeys begin now!" Aultcray shouted.
Soon after he announced that. The adventurers began walking forward to the heroes direction
They choose us instead? Hm.. That seems to be a... good... choice... WHY IS THERE NO ONE BEHIND NAOFUMI?!
Ei counted the number of adventurers and it seems that not a single person picked neither her, nor Naofumi. She isn't bothered by it though. What she's bothered with is because not a single person picked Naofumi. His attacks are so low that he won't even be able to attack with high damage
"Eh?! Three? Five? Four?! Hold up, King!" Naofumi shouted in disbelief
"I never imagined that duch a situation would arise." Aultcray commented
"No one wishes to journey with the two of them. They must be quite useless as a person"
Tch. Useless? I swear that I'll show them my full power if I have the chance..
Ei noticed that one of the person beside the throne whispered something to the king.
"Such rumors run about the town?"
If only I have the power of Anemo, i'd cut the wind and let me hear it.. Also, what does he mean by rumors?
"What rumor? Sir.." Ei asked, glaring at both the king and his advisor
"A rumor runs in the town that the Shield Hero and the accidental person who was also summoned here knows nothing of this world."
"What?!" Naofumi and Ei shouted
"The legends state that the Heroes understand this world. Rumor has it that you do not."

While everyone was talking, Ei mentally told herself to command every single thunder in this world to focus on the two maids that overheard their conversation last night. She hated people like that and wishes for them to be struck by thousands of lightning. She told them to strike the two maids late at night.
