12-3-11 I twist the lock and I grab my phone and pen. Then I'm off to my last class of senior year.
As I am walking down the hall I see Carson all over some girl in the hall. I walk past him and give him a dirty look. He sighs and walks closely behind me.
I get in into class and I feel someones hands wrap around my waist.
"Who the hell-"
"Guess who?"
Its Carson, I'm not in the mood for his bull today
"No"
He turns me around
"Aspen what the hell are you on your period or something"
No fucking way did he just say that
"Fuck you and that girl Carson"
He chuckles and we take our seats.
Carson is my very rude, very cocky boyfriend and too be honest I don't know why I'm dating him. Yeah sometimes he can be sweet and loving....I wish I could say all of the time.
The bell finally rings and I find my 2 best friends Alaska and Brandy standing in the hallway by their lockers. I slowly walk over to them trying not to interrupt their conversation, they are talking about how they have nothing to do over the summer...Perfect.
"Speaking of the summer" I slide in next to them
"mines going to be shit" Alaska sighs
Brandy nods her head in agreement. I look at them excitedly.
"Wait guys stop complaining, Do you maybe want to go to my stepdads beach house for the summer."
Alaska looks at me with wide eyes and a big smile.
"YES OH MY GOD!" Alaska is practically on top of me, i push her off laughing at her excitement.
"You coming Brandy?" We both look at Brandy full of hope and she sighs
"I have a lot of studying to do for college and I need to pass all of my classes, look at the campus and get a do-" I cut her off, "Your coming deal with it" I say laughing
"Okay fine I guess i could get some studying done at the beach house, I'll text you guys in the group chat." She shrugs her shoulders and walks away.
"Whats her deal" Alaska looks at me her face clearly full of confusion.
"Shes on her period."
"Really I didnt notice" Alaska throws her head back in laughter as we exit the school.
"Bye Alaska get packing we leave tomorrow"
"Okay love you" we exchange hugs and go our separate ways
I walk out of the school and see Carson waiting in his car, I decide I would rather take the bus so I don't even bother to look at him as I walk past.
"Aspen come in the car baby lets talk this out" he yells rudely
I turn around, flip Carson off and continue walking.
"Please baby she was just a whore"
I walk over to the car and sit down.
"Im sorry Aspen" He looks over at me with his big brown eyes that I adore so much as he leans in for a kiss I turn my head and he pouts his lip.
I kiss his pouted lip and we drive to my house.
When we arrive at my house Carson gets out of the car and walks to my front door. When we get into my house my step father Gary and my mom are on the couch watching television.
"Hi mom me and Carson are going to my room to pack for Sydney"
"Okay are your friends coming?"
"Yeah bye mom"
We walk up the stairs into my bedroom and I get to packing. He isn't much help he is just sitting on my bed scrolling through his phone.
"Finally i'm done" I say as I plop down on my bed next to him.
"Aspen?" He turns and looks at me with worried eyes.
"Yeah what's wrong Carson?"
"Nothing its just that i'm going to miss you alot and I don't want any one to take you from me."
Thats bullshit he is probably going to cheat on me or something.
"Okay Carson I'm going to miss you too" He has a slight smirk on his face as i's saying this
"Promise me you wont let anyone take you"
"Okay fine I promise I will only think of you the whole time."
"Good cause I would beat the shit out of anyone if they layeed a hand on you."
I planted a kiss on his lips and we watched a few movies until he had to go home.
He opens the door and turns to me "Bye Aspen."
"Bye Carson"
I shut the door and its already 12:00am.
"Crap I haven't even eatin yet" I run over to the stove and put on a quick pot of my sleepy time tea and eat left over baked ziti. Before I know it I am setting my alarm for 5am and then drifiting off to sleep.
