Today was one of those days Perrie wished she wore a mask. Because right now, she was outside the studio, tapping her foot impatiently as she waited for Jade to get out.

The brunette didn't know she was there. It was meant to be a surprise because Tom said it would give a more genuine reaction. Even Leigh-Anne doesn't know she's here.

She could see the paparazzi hidden behind bushes. Some were bold enough to not even hide. She hated it. She really doesn't like being out in public.

And she doesn't know how long she's been standing by her car but the moment she hears Jade and Leigh-Anne laughing by the door, she immediately straightens up and gets the bouquet of flowers Tom had gotten for her to give to Jade.

"Is it me or is that an angel approaching me?" She asks with a slight smirk, only for it to fade once she hears Jade snort as Leigh begins to look at her with disgust. "Is it me or did I just hear the worst pick-up line in the history of pick-up lines?"

"Perrie." Ignoring the horrified look on the blonde's face, Jade greets the player with a smile and she smiles back, removing herself from her car, "Hey."

Her hand was extended and her cheeks began to tint with red. The flowers were a bit tousled, some of them were flat, but the colors were still vibrant and Jade still felt her heart jump as the blonde gave it to her.

"What are you doing here?" She asks, taking it hesitantly and pulling it close to her chest when the taller girl scratches the back of her head, "Do you want the honest answer or the ones for the cameras?"

"Tom made you go, didn't he?" The singer chuckles, already knowing her answer when the blonde nods, "Bingo."

A few inches away, Leigh takes the flowers from Jade's hands carefully and begins to back away.

"I feel like I'd be an ass if you went all the way here just to give Jade flowers so... I'm just gonna..." And then she was off, walking away briskly as Jade stared at her confused, "Gonna what? Leigh? Leigh!"

Her manager was already inside her car, starting it and leaving the lot as fast as she could as Jade stared at her incredulously. Perrie hid a laugh behind her arm when the brunette faced her. Her mouth ajar and her eyes clouded with disbelief, "Did she just leave me alone?"

Giggling, the blonde nods, "She didn't even look back."

Still in shock, Perrie nudges the smaller girl, watching as the paparazzi begin inching closer. They have to leave.

"Do you have any plans, Jade?" She asks, uneasily reaching for her keys inside her pocket as the brunette watches her with a weird look, "Not that I know of." She responds, trailing off and still confused until she follows the other girl's line of sight. Then she sees the flashes.

Motioning for her to get inside the car, Perrie gives her a look, "Can I drive you home, then?"

"I don't feel like coming home."

"Well, can I take you out then?"

"Might as well."

As soon as she heard the brunette's door close, Perrie sped off, taking different routes before going back to the main road, losing the cameras following them. Jade was just silent all throughout, well, that was until they drove past a random basketball court by the pier.

"Don't you have practice?" She asks, furrowing her eyebrows at the other girl who shrugs, "I didn't go."

"Why not?"

"For you."

Her heart suddenly drops. She... she didn't go to practice for her?

"You didn't have to. Now I feel bad." Jade voices out, taking a gulp, thinking of what the blonde's teammates might think of because of this. Perrie senses her discomfort and she offers her a soft smile, "Don't be. We won the last game because of me. And practice was optional for today, anyway."
