At almost six, Yoohyeon sent an SMS that she would be in ten minutes with a bunch of Chinese food. After reading it, I smiled. It's still good when you have friends. Especially when they believe that a good dinner will help solve, if not all, then at least half of the problems.

I headed into the kitchen to fetch a bottle of cognac and lemon, opening the front door on the way. Tomorrow I will have a headache, but today I didn't care.

I was cutting a bright yellow lemon when the doorbell rang. Having shouted "open", I continued to wield the knife.

I said loudly so that Yoohyeon would probably hear:

- I hope you brought that delicious chicken in sauce that I love. You know, I think they add something to it. Maybe glutamate, otherwise how else to explain such an incredible taste.

A minute later, I heard a rustle in the kitchen door.

- Sorry, no chicken.

I froze with a knife in my hand. It was not Yoohyeon. I turned around and saw her.

- What ... What are you doing here? You should be in France, right?

- Should, "the girl nodded," I ... I just could not, " Bora sighed and looked at me with some regret," I turned the taxi in the middle of the road. The flight is in two hours. And the taxi is still downstairs. And I don't know what the hell I'm doing here. I should be angry, I should leave and forget about all this, but ...

Bora sighed again and rubbed the bridge of her nose.

- Siyeon, what's going on between us? Why can't I just forget you like I always did before? What should I do anyway? You turned my life around and things got so complicated ... And I have no idea how to do the right thing? Throw everything and stay here or throw it all," Bora looked around, " and leave?

At that moment, I realized that she had never done anything like this. Yes, she had changed her usual behavior before, but now ... She broke the principle by which she built absolutely all relationships. And I realized that there would be no second chance. That she's in turmoil now, but ready. She's really ready to try.

I put my knife aside and walked over to her. Her eyes glittered and I felt so sorry that I hurt her. Changing the habit and abandoning the "rules" is always painful. Especially when it turns out that part of everything was a lie. But only partially.

I ran my fingers over her cheek and Bora closed her eyes, exhaling convulsively and pressing against my palm. She tried to hold on.

- Taxi is downstairs?" I asked hoarsely.

She opened her eyes and, looking at me blankly, nodded.

- I'll be right back," I said, and pulled away from her.

- Where are you going?

- I'll take your things.

- But...

- Please, "I cut off her," Please.

Bora nodded and smiled slightly.

I left the entrance and ran into Yoohyeon. She watched in amazement as I approached a taxi standing by the house and, having paid the driver, took a suitcase out of the car.

- What does it mean?" Finally, asked she, as I rolled a huge black suitcase on wheels to the driveway.

- It means that everything is fine," I smiled," Bora is there," I nodded my head up, pointing to the house.

- I don't understand what's going on," Yoohyeon frowned.

- It's just that everything is fine. We decided to give it a try. Without any "contracts", without "her mom" and other things.
