5.

I groaned and rubbed my hand over my eyes. I had a pounding headache. My eyes wouldn't open. what the hell happened?

" Don't try to get up, you'll only make yourself feel worse. "

I opened one eye. I was in my living room. Suddenly everything came back to me. The Doctor. The aliens. Everything. I looked about. The Doctor was sitting on top of my kitchen counter, fiddling with a small metal device.

I ignored what he had said and stumbled up and into the kitchen.
I slid onto the worktop with him and watched him.

I had so many questions. What happened to the aliens? What about all the people? And most importantly, what the hell happened to all the pears I bought just a week ago?

" What happens now, Doctor? "

I asked. He looked at me for a second, before he continued fiddling with the device, while talking.

" Well, I erased the memory of all the witnesses, the alien was already dead, and I just had to take you here. "

He gestured to the apartment.

" No, what happens to you? "

I asked. His face softened.

" I suppose I'll just travel by myself again. Might try and save a few planets. "

I smiled.

" Is that what you do then? Save people and refuse to let them congratulate you? You might think you didn't want praise. "

He frowned.

" I don't. I don't save people for praise. I do it to help. "

He pocketed his screwdriver and stood up. He looked so out of place in my tiny kitchen. His head almost touching the ceiling, hair all a mess.

" Doctor.. "
" yes? "

I thought had just came to me. A ridiculous thought. Stupid thought.

" Can I come with you? Y'know, travelling with you? "

He looked surprised at the question.

" It's dangerous. "

" I really don't care. "

" You might die. "

" got nothing here to live for. "

" well then... "

He smiled widely, and grabbed my hand. I grinned, and didn't even have time to take a breathe before he was dragging me down the steps of my apartment, and out into the car park.

I laughed, trying to keep a hold on his hand. We stopped suddenly in front of an old phone box. What the hell was a police call box??

" Is that.. It? "

The Doctor smirked knowingly and opened the door. I stepped inside and then gasped. It was bigger... On the inside. It was huge with lights and a humming noise was in the air. The sound of an engine mixed with the sound of a heartbeat.

" It's... Bigger on the inside... "

The Doctor smiled again.

" she is bigger on the inside. "

" I beg you're pardon? "

He walked past me to the controls.

" This, Y/N L/N, is the Tardis. Stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. And shes alive. "

This was a hell of a lot to take in. The Doctor smiled reassuringly at me and pulled me up to the controls. I watched him flicking switching and pushing buttons. He looked at me suddenly.

" All of time and space. Every moment and every place that ever was or will be. Where do you want to go first? "

I grinned.

" Somewhere amazing. "

The Doctor faced the controls and placed his hand on a lever, as the lights of the Tardis flashed and buzzed.

" Alonsy, Y/N! "

He yelled, as we plunged into the unknown depths of the universe.
