Men are not created equal, that's a lesson many of us learn the hard way. My name is izuku midoria and I always dreamed of becoming the world's greatest hero...however-
Doctor: sorry kid but you're going to have to go for another career.
Midoria: *shocked* wh-what?
Inko: I-I don't understand? What exactly is the problem?
Doctor: weeeeeeell. *pulls up x-ray* quirks originate with one's bone structure and we've used this to determine weather a person will have a quirk or not *points to x-ray* quirk users are born with only one joint but your son has two meaning-
Inko: izuku will-
Doctor: have no chance of having a quirk...Ever.
This revelation more than broke izuku, it shattered him. He was quirkless, powerless, useless. Everything the boy's life didn't improve from there, after discovering he was quirkless his classmates and "friends" began to pick on him mercilessly, even katsuki bakugou, his childhood friend, turned into an absolute prick and all this time midoria still held on to the dream of being the number one hero just like his idol all might.
Ten years after he was dubbed quirkless izuku was heading to school seeing a villain situation up ahead being handled by kamui woods and also became the debut of the mt.lady, midoria being the hero fanatic that he was began noting down the two heroes and their quirks before realizing he was late for school.
When midoria entered the classroom his excited demeanor immediately subsided as he shuffled his way to his seat hoping no one will notice him. The teacher soon arrived with a bunch of papers and began speaking.
Teacher: now students you're all in your final year of middle school so you need to start thinking about your future, now I could pass these career aptitude tests for you all but *throws papers into the air* why bother? I know you all wanna go for the hero track!
The class responded to this by cheering and using their quirks.
Teacher: yes yes, you all have very impressive quirks (except you eye socket kid) but no quirk usage in class.
Bakugou: hmph, don't lump me in with these losers teach, they'll probably end up as sidekicks to some busted d-lister.
This retort from bakugou enraged most of the class who began yelling at the blonde, said blonde was completely unaffected by the comments stating he was going to UA high shocking all his classmates but what came next was a shock to all of them
Teacher: oh midoria, don't you want to go to UA as well?
Bakugou: ...
Students: ...
Midoria: (why must you do this to me?)
The silence was ended as the class burst out laughing at the idea of the only quirkless student in their entire year was going for the top hero school in the country. Bakugou on the other hand took offence to this and proceeded to blow his desk up and mocks midoria for even thinking about attending the hero course, he's quirkless after all.
