Midoria was currently putting on his iconic red shoes as his mom is asking about his preparedness at the moment.
Inko: you did pack everything you needed right? You didn't just pack nothing but those action figures did you?
Izuku: don't worry mom I've got everything. *opens the door*
Inko: izuku wait.
Izuku: *looking back* huh?
Inko: *with tears in her eyes* I'm really proud of you.
Midoria just stares at his mother for a bit before giving a warm smile before telling her goodbye and leaving.
Midoria eventually makes his way to UA stopping to stare at the main building in anticipation before entering, he's finally here....and promptly gets lost looking for his class. He eventually find the giant door with the insignia "1-A" on it, not missing a beat he basically bashes himself through the giant door slamming it open as he runs in before coming to a halt almost immediately upon seeing who he assumes are his classmates as they all stare at him.
Midoria: (looks like I wasn't as late as I thought) u-um, hi.
Bakugo: DEKU!!!
midoria: (crap)
Midoria turns around to see the ash blonde that is bakugou getting up from his seat completely ignoring the blue haired boy who seemed to be scolding him.
Bakugou: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!!?
Midoria: this is my class, I passed too remember *smirks* with a total score of 76 points may I add.
Bakugou's eye twitches as he knows exactly what midoria was talking about.
*flash back*
Midoria was staring at a hologram of principal nezu welcoming him to UA.
HoloNezu: congratulations midoria you passed both the written and practical portion of the exam, scoring second place place on the latter may I add.
Midoria: YES! FINALLY I- wait, second place? (I knew 51 points were impressive but did that seriously put me at that high?)
HoloNezu: you passed with 51 villain points and 25 rescue points making a total of 76 points
The hologram cuts to a score board showing the names of the top ten who passed and two numbers beside each name under "villain" and "rescue" points with midoria at the number two spot and just above him in first place is the pomeranian himself being only one point behind.
Midoria: ...kachaan will not be happy. *smirks*
HoloNezu: rescue points are gotten from helping or rescuing other examinees when in danger.
Midoria: I did help out a few people, but I wasn't exactly keeping anybody out of danger, except...
HoloNezu: after you brave act in saving that girl the rescue points were to be expected.
For those of you wondering why deku only got 25 rescue points even though he got 60 in canon for doing the exact same thing I have two answers for you, one; in canon midoria freaking one shot the zero pointer when saving ochako which would impress a lot of the teachers and probably boosted his point value too whereas this midoria not only couldn't do that but had no reason too and simply grabbed her and teleport away, he's not going to be like sonic and up and fight the thing this midoria has some elements of sonic's character but it's still the smart kid midoria who knew exactly how to save someone. Two; I didn't want midoria's point total to breach the hundreds. "Why didn't I just reduce the amount of villain points?" Well you see...actually maybe I should've done that. But the last point already confirmed the amount of points he got so I couldn't just retcon it.
Anyway this has gone for longer than I thought or would've liked so back to the story please.
