It took George a while to process the news about Elena being pregnant. About ten minutes later they sneaked back out of the secret passageway and returned to the Great Hall. When they got back to the Gryffindor table, George poured himself a fresh cup of coffee.

Fred looked at George and grinned. "Did you have a good 'talk'?" he asked.

"I'm going to be a dad," said George.

"Blimey, Georgie," said Fred. "I didn't realise you were gone for that long."

"No. That's what she wanted to talk about," said George. "Elena is pregnant."

"She's what?!" said Harry, from behind him.

Elena spun around in her chair. "Harry! I was going to come and find you next," she said.

"You're pregnant?" said Harry. "How?"

"Well, when a girl and a boy love each other very much..." said Fred.

"Urgh, that's not what I meant," said Harry. "I meant, how could you do something like that?"

"It wasn't on purpose," said Elena.

"Yeah, kind of my fault I'm afraid," said George.

"But it's fine," said Elena. "It's not your problem. Me and George will be fine."

"Well I'm not sure if it's as simple as..." Harry started to say.

"No! Harry, I'm telling you, it's not your problem," said Elena. "I'm your older sister, so you don't get to tell me what to do."

"You're not older, we're twins, and... Urgh! Fine, whatever," said Harry. "It's your life, you can do what you want."

And with that Harry turned and walked out of the Great Hall. Elena scowled at him as she watched him go.

"I'll go after him," said Hermione, as she stood up from the table and hurried after Harry.

After Hermione left, there was silence for a while at that part of the table. No one knew what to say. The silence was broken when Ron started chuckling to himself.

"I can't believe George is going to be a dad," said Ron. "And mum's going to be a grandmother."

Fred started to chuckle too. "Yeah, we should start calling her 'granny'," he said.

"It's not funny," said George.

"It is a little bit funny," said Fred.

Ron and Fred were still chuckling as breakfast finished and everyone started heading to their first lesson of the day.

Later that evening, Harry was sitting in the Gryffindor common room with Ron, Hermione, and Elena. It was late, so everyone else had gone to bed already. As they sat listening to the radio, there was suddenly a noise from the fireplace. Harry looked closer and could see the face of Sirius coming through the flames.

"Hey, Harry," he said.

"Sirius, what are you doing?" said Harry. "It isn't safe."

"I know, but I had to talk to you after I read your letter," said Sirius.

"It has gotten worse," said Harry. "Now she's not even teaching us any magic."

"The rumour is that Fudge doesn't want you trained in combat," said Sirius. "He's scared that Dumbledore is making an army."

"That's ridiculous," said Ron.

"I know. I'm sorry I can't be any more help," said Sirius. "So was there anything else happening with you?"
