13. An Ominous Vision

After Fred and George had left, Umbridge expelled them both. Though this didn't really matter to them, as they had no intention of coming back to school.

George got a part time job working in the pub in Hogsmeade. This meant he still had access to the secret tunnels that led into Hogwarts. So then he was still able to sneak in and see Elena and Lily as often as he wanted.

A week later, Elena was in the Gryffindor common room. She was sitting on the sofa near the fireplace and was breastfeeding Lily. As she did, she was chatting with Hermione. Harry, Ron, and George were sitting at the other end of the sofa, and they were talking about Quidditch.

Suddenly, Harry clutched his head and groaned. He looked like he was going to faint, but then the moment passed and his eyes opened again.

"Harry, are you okay?" asked Hermione.

"I had another vision," he said. "It was Sirius, he's in trouble."

"What should we do?" asked Elena.

"I need to go and make sure he is safe," said Harry.

"I'm coming with you," said Elena. "George can look after Lily."

George took Lily, while Elena straightened out her clothes again.

"We're coming too," said Hermione.

"Okay, but how do we get there?" asked Ron.

"The floo network," said Harry. "The one in Umbridge's office is not being watched."

Elena kissed Lily and George goodbye, then the four friends rushed off towards Umbridge's office. Hermione unlocked the door, then they all went inside.

Harry paused as he stood in front of the fireplace with the bag of floo powder. "Maybe Elena should stay here," he said. "It could be dangerous."

"That's more reason for me to come," said Elena. "I've got to look out for you, little bro."

Harry rolled his eyes, then went to throw the powder. But before he could do it, the door burst open behind them. Umbridge walked in surrounded by Malfoy and his squad.

"What's going on here?" said Umbridge. "Are you trying to contact Dumbledore?"

Harry and the others don't reply.

"Never mind, I have ways of making you talk," said Umbridge, then she turned to one of the children behind her. "Go and fetch Professor Snape."

A few minutes later the door opened again and Professor Snape walked in.

"You summoned me?" he drawled.

"Yes, I need more veritaserum," said Umbridge.

"You've already used all of it," said Snape. "If that was all, I'll be going."

"Wait," said Harry. "They've got Padfoot, at the place where it's kept."

Snape paused and raised his eyebrow at Harry, then turned and left the room.

"Nevermind," said Umbridge. "I'll just have to torture you the old fashioned way with the Cruciatus curse."

"You can't, that's illegal," said Elena.

"It's only illegal if you get caught," said Umbridge, as she pointed her wand at Harry.

"Wait," said Hermione. "I can show you Dumbledore's secret weapon."

Umbridge grinned. "Oh really?" she said. "Yes, you and Potter will show it to me. The other two can stay here."

Umbridge took Harry and Hermione out of the room with Malfoy and half of the squad. Crabbe and Goyle stayed behind to guard the other two.
