My native language is German and I have only basic knowledge of English. The story was translated with a program. Please let me know if the quality is good enough. If so, I will translate my other Alan & Characters stories at some point as well.
The "inspired by a movie" category continues to grow with this little project and will definitely be expanded with a few more stories in the future.
This (short) story is dedicated to Lisa fremdePerson.
She posted on her Instagram account "alittlefanofalanrickman_" the cover image of the short film "Dust" and added: "I love him in 'Dust'" and what did I do?! In my actual writing break I had nothing better to do and I watched the movie on YT again after ages....
I have to say that I don't like the content of the movie at all, but that's up to you. There you see once again that I do not have to like something to inspire me spontaneously.
That's why I deliberately refrain from linking the video here. Of course, it is up to everyone to watch it on You Tube. But I think most Alan fans will already know it anyway.
Attention! The story is not very realistic, but since when does anyone care!
Alan didn't leave a wife in this story, that would have been too much subject for a short story.
The short film "Dust" was made in 2013 and was the third last film with Alan, he was 67 years. I don't have the rights to the film, or the photos, of course! However, the idea for the story came from me.

You can imagine your own age or whatever is convenient for you. Not without reason I have invested as little as possible in the person description and have written it in first person, so that you can see yourselves in it!
The story has eleven chapters and is finished writing.
