Chapter 10

Laura POV
I woke up and forgot about the crutches. I got up on my hurt foot and instantly fell to the ground. I sort of groaned as I got up and got the crutches. I feel so useless with this. I walked to the stairs and looked down to see if anyone was awake. Rocky was in the living room. I was so embarrassed to ask him for help so I made louder noises with the crutches to see if he came over to help. He looked up and saw me. "Oh hey Laur do you need help?"
"Uh...Yeah I do."
He got up the couch and left an acoustic guitar he had on the couch. He walked over to me pulling up his boxers. Woah I've never seen someone in boxers besides my dad and Ross, but this seemed weird. He got to me and picked me up as I left the crutches leaning on the wall.
"So are you the only one awake?"
"Yeah I'm usually, well not gonna lie, sometimes the first one to wake up."
"Oh." He put me on the couch and went back up to get my crutches. "Oh so I see you play guitar."
"We all play guitar. Actually Rydel is learning how. She plays the keyboards. Riker plays bass and the acoustic guitar. Ross woah man were do I start. He plays so many instruments. My parents made us suck up all the music and stuff. Ryland on the other hand was more left behind in music but he still loves it. Ross like embraced music he is a really good singer."
"Could you show me some of what you do?"
"Yeah I'll show you one I wrote."
He started playing the chords which sounded so familiar. Then he started singing
I was solo living yolo till you blew my mind
like damn you could be the one that can pass me by, i can't let you cant let you pass me by oh oh oh oh I can't let you pass me by.
I started singing along to the song which I've heard. before.
Every where I'm looking every where I go a million other guys keep staring and I know that I could be your and you could be mine I just can't let you pass me by

"Woah I've heard that song everywhere. I can't believe you wrote that and sang it."
"Yeah I wrote it along with Riker but we never wanted to get popular so we write songs then post it on YouTube so everyone can hear it. And I didn't sing well I did in this part but Ross actually sang."
"He is such a good singer! I suck at singing."
"Are you kidding me?!? I just heard you and your awesome."
I blushed a little "Thanks Rocky."
"No prob well I'm gonna go for my jog I would invite you but you know"
He did a hand motion and face motion at my foot.
"It's okay bye."
"Bye" he left upstairs to change and came down with Riker. "Hey uh Riker is gonna stay with you alright."
"Yeah okay."
He ran out the door as Riker took a deep breath and sat next to me on the couch. He looked tired and was rubbing his eyes.
"Riker you don't have to stay you could go back upstairs and sleep."
"No, no I'm alright. I'm just getting used to the morning. Nothing bad." he said yawning.
He slowly was nodding his head and then he fell on my lap as I read a magazine. I tried waking him up and calling his name, but he was fast asleep. He sort of was snoring but not too loud. All that yawning he did made me feel a little sleepy. I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Ross POV
I went into Laura's room and saw no one there. I then went to Vanessa's room but it was only her and Rydel. I the went down the hall and down the stairs. I saw her head. Then I saw some hairy legs. Unless Laura never shaves then that's her leg. I went and saw that it was Riker laying on her lap and Laura asleep. What is my brother doing sleeping on my girlfriend's lap? I wanted to think it was nothing at all, but my mind is stupid that it wants to see what it wants to see. I taped on Laura's shoulder.
"Laura.Laura.Laura wake up." I quietly whispered
She slowly was waking up and was stretching her arms out. While she did that she accidentally hit my face "Ouch." I screamed in pain. It didn't hurt, but I wanted to see what she would do.
"Oh I'm sorry Ross. Uh I didn't mean to hit your face. What time is it?"
"It's 10:15am."
"Oh. What is Rik...Oh yeah I forgot he came downstairs to take care of me while Rocky went out for his run and well all his yawning made me sleepy."
"Oh okay." my face grew of embarrassment thinking of what I thought really happened in my head. "Everybody else is asleep want me to cook you something."
"Actually yeah. I want to see how great of a cook is Ross Lynch. I want to see if he is a great cook as he is a singer."
"Oh trust me I a...Rocky told you right." She nodded her head. "Well I don't sing I'm terrible and my brothers made me because supposably I have a nice voice."
"Ross I've heard your voice and it's beautiful. Well that was weird, but yeah you have a really nice voice unlike mine."
"Well I bet you have a nice voice too."
"Thanks but I don't. Now how about that breakfast."
I walked to the kitchen as Laura made her way through all the furniture. She sat down as I took out the batter to make pancakes for her. She sat on the island seats.

"You know these are really good. I like the banana in the pancakes."
"I never put banana I. the pancakes. Weren't you here seeing me."
"okay then that means you didn't let it cook well." She sort of made a funny disgusted face as I go and make her some eggs instead
"Thanks for the food, but I should really get going. I need to shower and change so that when Vanessa wakes up we go straight home. Can you help me get up?"
I helped her up stairs and into her room.
"Thanks Ross. I bet your gonna be helping me with all this for the next 2-3 weeks." she rolled her eyes as I made myself towards her and said,"I don't mind doing something for you. you mean the world to me. Carrying you up and down the stairs is nothing." I tilted her head up and saw straight into her eyes and said, "I love you more than anything in this whole world, besides my family." She looked back into mine and said,"I love you too."
She tippy toed and I grabbed her from the waist and her from my neck and we kissed. After that we hugged for a while until she let go and she left to the restroom. I left her room and closed it. I leaned on the door and thought of what we have been through the past 1 month and a half. I wonder what the future holds for us.
