The choosing

It was a rainy day as you were walking down the stairs with Eren, Mikasa, and Armin the stairs were quite slippery so you all were being cautious. Eren asked "So Y/N how's your family been recently?" "Well, it's been okay a few incidents here and there" you said forgetting that the stairs were slippery you slipped and started to tumble to the ground you closed your eyes tightly trying to avoid falling...

even though there was nothing you could do to avoid it...You didn't feel any pain so you opened your eyes.

Someone grabbed your jacket.. You turned around to see who it was. It was Mikasa she was holding on to your jacket tightly staring off into the distance with a blank expression. "T-thank you..!" You said to Mikasa flustered "your welcome." She said still staring off into the distance you stepped down so you could stand up again and sighed in relief..

It's been years since that day even though you replay it in your memory over and over again..You got out of your bunk bed, today was the day..you had to choose which rank you wanted to be. There was The Garrison who fixed up the walls, the MP's who worked with the king, and last but not least, the Scouts. You've wanted to join the scouts since you were little it's always been your dream. And today was finally the day.

Everyone lined up in rows and gave there salute to commander Erwin "Alright soldiers!! Today is the day you choose your ranks!!" Commander Erwin said loudly while doing his salute.

We were all split up into sections depending on where we wanted to go. You were shocked on how many of your friends wanted to join the scouts... There was Jean, Sasha, Armin, Mikasa, Eren, Reiner, Connie, and Bertholdt, all of your friends were there.. you were shocked. While the other two groups walked away the scouts stayed. Your heart was beating so fast you felt like you couldn't breathe at this point. You felt light headed and like you were gonna pass out any second.. though you kept your self together but you almost fell on multiple occasions..

"Y/N are you okay?" Said Mikasa "Y-yeah..I'm fine..thanks for asking though.." Your head was swirling though you thought of nothing, your mind was just blank. Armin gave you some water and you finally started feeling better.

You thanked Armin and moved on. While Erwin was giving instructions you noticed Captain Levi standing on the corner of the stage commander Erwin was standing on giving out instructions. He glared daggers at you and you looked away quickly. You felt shivers down your body. "Kinda creepy.." you thought.
