A couple days had passed since pasta night and Roxy was more on edge than ever. The house had become a whole love affair. Harry had stopped by a couple times, and Roxy barely spoke with Elle or Teddy because they were both locked up in their bedrooms with their boyfriends. On day five, Roxy was calling friends to see if there were any parties she could bail at.
She ended up calling Christian Bale, who was working on As good as it gets with her, and he let her know he was hosting a party with a few people that were staying at his house outside of New York city for a couple days. She quickly accepted his invitation and packed her bags. She wanted to let Elle and Teddy know she was leaving town, but they were both busy so she left a note on the fridge.

Roxy pulled her car up to Christian's cozy cabin. She wasn't sure who was staying there, but she didn't plan on socializing with many of them. She just needed an escape from the romantic melodrama that had become her penthouse.
She pulled down her car mirror and made sure her makeup was touched up and her hair was fine. Christian must have heard her pull up because he came out of the cabin to greet her.
"Roxy." He grinned and the two of them embraced.
"This is a very nice place you have here" Roxy said as she admired the woodwork. Near the cabin was even a lake.
"Well, come inside and meet everyone. You're the last guest to arrive and everyone's been buzzing about you."
The two of them opened the door and she took in the sight of it immediately. There was a huge fireplace with soft sofas, a billiard table, and a large window overlooking the lake. Now this was traveling in style.
"Alright alright lemme introduce you to everyone. They're in the kitchen." A couple of girls had still managed to sneak out of the kitchen to catch an early glimpse of Roxy.
She first shook hands with two blondes, Alicia (from Clueless) and Amanda (Christian's girlfriend). They both exclaimed how much they loved Titanic (although they took much more time explaining why they loved Jack than they did Rose). Roxy smiled politely and moved into the kitchen. There were three others cooped up in the corner of the kitchen island talking when Roxy walked in. She was slightly hurt; they were not as excited as the blondes to see her.
"Hey Roxy" Julia Roberts waved from her corner. They both knew each other, they'd been up for the same awards before. They were never that friendly to each other, though.
"Roxy" Lakeith said happily as he approached Roxy. The two of them hugged. They were friends and met before Lakeith made it in Hollywood. In fact, Roxy helped him break into the acting scene.
Roxy's heart skipped a beat when she realized who the last person was. It was the strange tall guy with blue eyes from the Hilton party.
"Oh y'all haven't met yet, yea this is Jamie." Lakeith introduced them.
"Hello" Jamie said calmly. He had a thick Irish accent and was very soft-spoken, which made Roxy immediately self conscious. Roxy could be quite a blabbermouth.
"Hello" Roxy replied softly back. He was wearing a navy hoodie and jeans which made his blue eyes glow even more than normal. Her heart started beating faster and it became harder to breathe. She didn't know why he affected her this way. She had met and worked with far more good looking people in her time in Hollywood (specifically, the love interest of Johnny Depp AND Leonardo Dicaprio in a span of two years). But, for some reason, his presence made her nervous. And Roxy was rarely ever nervous.
After that awkward interaction, Julia and Jamie went back to talking while Roxy stood there gawking at the wall. I feel so stupid, Roxy thought to herself.
