Some more mess

Much champagne was spilled. That could sum up the entire party, but we'll get into more detail for fun. About a month and a half had passed by since Teddy and Oscar broke up, and he was taking the time to work on himself. The trio's Saturday nights had consisted mostly of going to parties, ignoring all men and being as hot as possible. Tonight was no exception: in fact, this was the wrap party for As Good as It gets, and Roxy, Teddy and Elle were cackling on a couch in the corner, gasping for breath in between chuckles and sips of alcohol.

"You're such a slut." Elle made out between heavy heaves of laughter. As you can probably assume, she was talking to Teddy. They had just seen a waiter pass by with a nice physique, and Teddy had just described what he would do to him if they were alone.

"Man! Are those pants tight or is it just huge??" Teddy said while shaking his head incredulously. This made Roxy and Elle burst into laughter again. Elle spilled champagne on Roxy's dress, but neither of them cared.

"That looks like it'd hurt." Roxy said.

"I hope it does." Teddy cleverly replied, and Elle and Roxy were back to slapping each other's knees in laughter. The waiter was soon out of sight, so the three of them searched again for a new man to prowl on. They couldn't find one, so Teddy took the opportunity to say.

"You know, I'm so glad we've all decided to take a break from men for the past month or so. Well, for Roxy it's less of a break and more of a lifelong evasion of the opposite sex, but anyways. It's been so refreshing, we're really recognizing our worth and becoming stronger people... oh my LORD who is that?" Teddy got distracted and pointed to the bartender.

"Um... you were saying?" Roxy said, and the three laughed again.

"You know who I just remembered?" Teddy asked. "Paul... I haven't thought about him in forever."

Elle and Roxy looked at each other uneasily. Patrick noticed this and replied,

"Oh, not as in missing him. I just realized how much, I mean how little, I think of him now. I bet he doesn't remember me either. It's like we've just, forgotten it all." Teddy and Roxy started making side chatter, but Elle's heart stopped after Teddy said that.

"Wait, Teddy, repeat that."

"Repeat what?"

"Just, what you said! Fucking, repeat it!" Elle shouted eagerly.

Alarmed, Teddy raised his hands and answered,"Ok Ok! I just said we had forgotten each other, even though like half a year ago we both meant so much to each other."

Elle's eyes widened. "I'll see you guys at the apartment." She grabbed her purse and dashed out of the party room, fastly typing something on her phone.

"What was that?" Teddy asked confused.

Roxy shook her head, "Sometimes I worry for that girl."

After many more drinks drank and spilled, Roxy and Teddy eventually stumbled back into the old NYC penthouse at around 3 AM. They found Elle sitting on the couch, aggressively typing out something onto her laptop.

"Hey baby, what those hands do?" Roxy said in a slurred manner. After getting a cackle out of Teddy but no response from Elle, she tapped her on the shoulder. "Don't worry Ellie, it's just me." Her breath smelled of champagne and Elle frusteratedly pushed them into their rooms and told them to go to sleep. She then leaped back onto the couch and continued typing her heart out.

At the party, after Teddy's statements on Paul, an idea had formed in Elle's mind. In fact, it was just the idea that she hoped would come to her over the past year. That is, an idea for a screenplay. Her screenplay.
