In his tenth month, Jungkook completely lost his ability to walk properly. He couldn't raise his head from the bed without feeling dizzy.

Taehyung made Jungkook shift to the hospital in the eleventh month . He never once left Jungkook's side. He took care of Jungkook's every need.

Jungkook was put on life support in his last month.

Jungkook and Taehyung both were orphans. So, Just their close friends visited Jungkook, his hospital room was filled with beautiful flowers.

Taehyung watched everything with his empty eyes, long lost the shine they once carried. He engaged himself with Jungkook and his needs only. He lost weight from eating too little. But he couldn't care anymore.

As soon as Jungkook is finally alright, they will go on a date at their very favorite butterfly garden.

One night when Taehyung arrived home to collect some cleaned clothes for his hospital stay and few extra cash, he found a letter, decorated with lots of cute stickers in their money-saving box. The letter looked completely like the one they used to write for the other whenever they were on a vacation from school.

He silently sat on the ground, leaning beside their bed, holding the letter very gently.

" For the one I love so dearly " was written on the letter's cover. He smiled through the tears and opened to read it.

To My Beautiful Hazel,

I'm writing this at 3 am when you're sleeping in the next room. Sleep really doesn't come to me anymore, Taehyungie. So, here I am, so tired.

First, I want to apologize sincerely for leaving you this early. I've had lots of dreams to fulfill with you and you only. But it seems like Fate chose to betray me brutally just like my life. I want to confess something to you today as I've less time left.

You once told me that you found me at our school's library. But I've known you earlier than that.

I first saw you under the oak tree of your old house. I was passing by when I saw you writing your journal, maybe humming a tune I don't know about. Maybe the song you used to sing me on my every birthday?"

Taehyung chuckled with his sore, swollen eyes, nodding fondly.

" Trust me, I've never seen someone this beautiful, alluring and innocent since ever.

You are my first love, Taehyung. But I was so scared to even talk to you. I've never stood a chance with something so precious. 

When you came to me asking for some help to understand that book's summary, millions of happy butterflies were flapping their wings in my heart. It wasn't shocking at all!! I would never know how I ever became so lucky that I found you so suddenly. You filled my life with everything you had to offer. I never felt alone with you by my side.
