Taehyung knew what his best friend was hiding. The only boy he had ever brought himself to love, cherished after his whole family died in a car accident when he was only 13.
He found Jungkook in his school's library, sitting down at the last corner of the place where all of the commotion had quietened down. Trying to hide himself by a bookcase, sobbing. He silently went to stand behind the opposite of the open bookcase.
Taehyung saw Jungkook caressing a picture in his hand, shoulders trembling, looking so small. He was mumbling something which Taehyung couldn't understand. But then again, he couldn't leave the boy crying, all alone.
So he decided to sit behind that same bookcase where Jungkook was leaning in. Pretending to read a book. But All his ears could hear was Jungkook's muffled sobs for two hours.
He, of course, heard some words associated with 'mom', 'left' , 'orphan' , ....
That very day Taehyung knew that Jungkook was as alone as he was. His instincts are never wrong. And he will not let the boy feel lonely anymore. He now had a newfound determination of bringing a smile on the boy's features.

After two or three days of continuous visiting, he found out Jungkook visits the library every sunday and tuesday. The place was quiet (kind of) on those particular days. So, He started going there too, frequently.
Only For Jungkook.
On one fine Sunday, he gathered the courage to sit beside Jungkook.
"Um- I apologize if i disturbed you. But can you- um - can you tell me the summary of this book's story?," Taehyung huffed a deep breath. The boy was so damn nervous about the sudden approach.
Jungkook looked up from his book, eyes turned larger and immediately stiffened at the new boy. The silence and the curious nervous stare was breaking Taehyung's mere confidence more.Then he sighed in relief when Jungkook nodded hesitantly. A thankful smile broke into the nervous boy's face.
As the time passed, their friendship grew deeper and inseparable . Their worlds simply began to start and end with each other's presence only. They found their heart most content then.
And two years later, Jungkook asked Taehyung to move in with him as both of them were living alone. Taehyung could never be more happy. He squealed, jumped on Jungkook, hugging him so tightly.
Jungkook grinned at his excitement. Hold the boy close protectively, left kisses on taehyung's temple, humming happily whatever the younger mumbling happily.
