It's like 3:00 in the morning here and I have to be up in less than five hours for class, but I really wanted to get something out tonight since its been so long.
I know I normally don't include children in my stories, but this was a request I got forever ago from 1Dsickfics, and I thought it was a cute idea. So this one's for you, love!
Enjoy!

Louis hummed softly to himself as he stood in the kitchen heating up a bottle. It was just past seven in the morning, a rather cool summer morning in London, and the dim light of sunrise was just beginning to seep in through the windows.
Harry was still upstairs tucked up in bed, and just a few months ago this whole situation would have seemed quite out of the ordinary. Louis was never up before Harry, he was never up before 10:00 if he could help it. He had never been a morning person and finding him voluntarily awake before dawn might as well have been a sign of the end of the world.
But that all changed with the birth of their daughter, Emmeline. Louis and Harry generally alternated mornings getting up with their four month old baby, though technically this was supposed to be Harry’s morning. Truth be told, Louis cherished these moments with his daughter. There was no place in the world he’d rather be than curled up on the sofa with his baby girl nestled in his arms, giving her her morning bottle while the rest of the house was still and quiet. His precious little girl had somehow manage to do the impossible: turn her daddy into a morning person.
Louis was testing the temperature of the milk on the back of his wrist when he heard the kitchen tiles squeak behind him.
“Lou?” he heard his husband’s soft voice call out.
“Morning love,” Louis said brightly, turning around with a wide grin on his face. His smile faltered a bit as his eyes landed on Harry. He was standing with his arms wrapped tightly around himself and seemed to be shivering. His eyes were drooping making it look as though he was struggling to keep them open and his cheeks were flushed a bright scarlet.
“’M not feeling well,” Harry mumbled, pouting.
“Aw love,” Louis sighed, setting the bottle on the counter and closing the gap between him and his husband. “What’s the matter?”
Harry’s forehead dropped onto Louis’ shoulder and Louis wrapped his arms around the shivering boy’s waist. “My head hurts. It’s making me feel really ill, Lou,” he whimpered.
Louis pulled Harry closer against him and slid a hand up his shirt, rubbing his back. “You’re quite warm,” he whispered, making Harry groan.
“No, cold,” Harry whined, pressing himself closer to Louis, searching for warmth.
Louis sighed, knowing that Harry must be running a fever. “Do you want me to call Li and tell him you won’t be in today?”
Harry nodded into the crook of Louis’ neck, his warm breath sending shivers down his spine.
“Okay love, go lay down on the sofa and I’ll be in after I get Emmy up.”
Harry pulled away from Louis and nodded, rubbing his eyes with his fists. Louis kissed Harry’s fever-flushed cheek and patted his arm before giving him a gentle shove toward the living room.
“Haz, are you awake?” Louis asked about twenty minutes later, standing over the sofa with Emmeline cradled against his chest. Harry was curled up in a thick blanket, facing the wall.
Harry slowly turned over and blinked up at Louis sleepily. Louis couldn’t help but smile at how cute he looked with his droopy, red eyes.
“Looks like someone else isn’t feeling too well this morning either,” Louis said sadly, bouncing Emmeline and rubbing her back.
