Stars
She glanced at the starry night above,
As her heart and mind thought of love.
Oh, how beautiful the world could be.
If only they cherish you and me.
But the unexpected present catches up to us,
Leaving us into pieces like a shattered glass.
Even if there reigns love and trust,
Yet reality still kept us apart.
She then again closed her own eyes,
As she starts to remember those filthy lies.
How rude people could be!
When they leave us alone, damp and teary.
If only she knew it long ago,
She wouldn't be here watching the glow.
Yet even if a thousand lights lit the sky,
The pain is there, as she yelp a cry.
