Maya's Pov:
I woke up in the hospital l. I only saw Josh. He was facing the wall crying. I was in a bed.

Maya: Josh??

Josh: Maya

Josh quickly sat down next to me. I noticed his lip was cut and he had his arm over a part of his stomach and his cheek was purple. He started brushing threw my hair

Maya: Josh what happened why am I here

Josh: your dad started hitting you

Maya: oh. Wait what happened to you

Josh: Also your dad I saw you in the ground then started punching him. He was stronger than me so he hurt me. But that doesn't matter what matters now are you and the baby.

Maya: Where's Riley

Josh: I already called them there on there way

Maya: Josh thank you

Josh: For what

Maya: If it wasn't for you I would be dead right now

Josh: Maya you mean the world to me I would die if anything happened that caused you to die.

Josh leaned in and we kissed. But mr, mrs. Matthews, Riley, Auggie, Lucas and Farkle interrupted it.But I'm glad they are here

Riley: Maya are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt? Do you need to sleep? Do you want food?

Maya: Riley I'm fine

Riley: you sure

Maya: I'm sure

Riley: how did this all happen

Maya: It's all my fault

Josh: no it's not

Maya: yes it is I got a text from my dad I didn't know it was him he told me to go outside. I did then he started beating me up. I called Josh he can I fainted. And he hurt Josh

Riley: Josh are you okay

Josh's Yes I'm okay

Everyone left eventually expect for Josh and Riley. I was really worried about the baby. Suddenly the nurse came in.

Maya: how's my baby

Nures: unfortunately the baby past away I'm sorry

With that the nurse left. I was shocked. I started crying so hard. Josh was crying to. He hugged me. I felt safe with him. Riley, Josh and me all had a group hug. Riley left for I can talk to Josh.

Maya: I'm sorry Josh

Josh: what

Maya: I'm sorry I can't give you a baby

Josh: Maya I don't care if you can't give me a baby. All I want is you. I would be fine with or without a baby. As long as I have you I'm okay

Maya: I love you

Josh: I love you too

It was time for me to leave the hospital. I still had some scars and bruises so did Josh. I got home and sat and me and Josh watched TV. Josh had told me that the police had gotten my dad so everything was fine. Or so I thought. Josh's phone rang he picked it up. He had a sad look on his face.he hung up.

Maya: what's wrong
