Josh's Pov:
Cory: Josh....What does it say

Josh:......

Riley: Uncle Josh....

Josh:.....

Maya: Josh...

Josh:I didn't get in

How can I not have gotten in I mean I have good grades I filled out the application perfectly what was missing.

Cory: Josh it's-

Before Cory could finish what he was saying I walked away to my room.

Maya's Pov:
Josh didn't get accepted to the NYU program. I feel so bad.

Cory: Josh is really upset

Maya: I'll go talk to him

I left and went straight to his room. I knocked on the door then opened it.

Maya: Hey

Josh: what

Maya: I just came in to see if you were okay

Josh: no okay no I'm not okay I just got denied from a collage that I was really hopping to get in

Maya: sorry

Josh: no it's not your fault I'm sorry I'm just really bummed

Josh sat down at his bed then I sat down next to him wrapping my arms around his shoulders

Maya: Hey there are other colleges I know it costs money to apply but we will make it work

Josh: Your right

Maya: awww.. I always am

Josh: Ha okay can you leave me alone for a couple of minutes I have to call my parents

Maya: Anything for you

I gave him a kiss on the lips and left.Since it was night we all went to sleep. I don't know why but I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen since Josh didn't get accepted. After thinking i just fell asleep. I woke up then struggled to wake Riley up then we got changed and headed to eat. Everyone was already sitting in the picnic table when we were eating Cory stood up.

Cory: Guys I have important news

Riley: what about

Cory: Josh

I kept on thinking on my mind that something beyond magical was going to happen. I hope.
