Cordelia's POV

I could feel the warm San Francisco sunrise seep through the window and into my room which woke me up right away. I wasn't fully awake but Dina and Bean had hopped onto my bed to kiss me good morning. Just sitting up in bed made me feel sore all over my body and I immediately sank back into the comfy pillows. I don't think I even remember what I did yesterday. I sat up and got out of bed after staring at the sunlit ceiling for a while, but as soon as my feet felt the cold floor all the memories rushed back to me. 

His face...The blood...The gun...

But worst of all...

His boss...Armin Arlert

I let out a long sigh and started to head towards my bathroom for a shower to wake me up. The bathroom floor was cold too but I was used to it at this point, I turned the shower on while I undressed from my comfy silk pajama set. I found myself staring into the bathroom mirror again and I ruffled my hair a bit releasing some of the built up stress I had. Once I stepped into the shower I thought that I would melt right there on the spot, the water felt so nice and it made me let go of reality. I reached for my shower speaker and put on my morning playlist to give me some form of hype. As I was washing my hair I got lost in the music and decided to turn up the volume and softly sang to the music.

I stayed in the shower for so long that the vapor in the room made me have trouble breathing. At some point I knew I had work to do so I stepped back out into the the currently warm bathroom air and continued on with my self-care. I kept dancing to my playlist while checking myself out in the mirror. Damn even with a robe on I got a nice body. I got my hair how I wanted it for the day and finished up with my time in the bathroom. Now It was time for my favorite part of my morning, outfit time!!

I was really feeling myself today after the nice shower I had so I walked into my closet and found a nice deep scarlet red lace top with a matching set of pants and a comfy red blazer to top it all off.
