You are awake, but feel perplexed because you can't seem to feel your face and hands. You realise , that you are just numb from the room temperature. You must just be dreaming. Whilst you attempt to scan your surroundings, suddenly flashing lights strike you in the eyes. It's almost like you have woken up in the middle of the road with traffic lights blinding you. But one eye begins to open but you still can't see in clarity. You begin to ponder if you had just drunk too much or just dreamt.
You start to feel a presence near. A tall, 6ft shadow begins to step closer and closer and he looks down at you with eyes squinted with a bewildered facial expression. You still can't see in clarity, which makes this all seem like a movie.
Fear shuts you like prison cells, although you eagerly want to speak, you just can't utter anything.
You close your eyes but you're still unable to comprehend where you are and if this is all just a peculiar nightmare. The repetitive thoughts circle you.
Unexpectedly you hear a familiar voice, which paces your heart beat faster.
You totally forgot the 6ft figure was stilly stood.
He began speaking hastily, 'Bro it's me, they drugged us for real! We didn't get back home from last night. The rest of our friends aren't here.'
You try to speak but your voice just shatters. You realise it's your friend Johnny. You wish you felt okay by this familiarity, but would anyone in right now?
'Wai- wh-a-aa-t' you nervously say.
Your hands start building up in temperature which ends up feeling like an oven with the build-up of heat you feel across your body, but it also feels like a time machine the way you start trembling.
Your eyes finally open and you see a vast neon sign in devil red ' Words or life'. You wonder why this seems familiar. Then realisation hits.
You remember now. You had been pressured by all of your friends, into coming to this eerie nightclub since you had turned 18. You always dragged it out and never went because of the rumours about 5 people going missing every night.
Everything makes sense to you now. You could be the potential missing person. Why else would the familiar voice say you didn't get home. You find it hard to process, so you begin to observe more of your surroundings instead.
You hear voices coming from one door so you adventurously enter it.
As you enter you see 3 strangers and an army of eerie looking humans.
The eerie humans march towards you furiously shouting ' STOP WHERE YOU ARE!'
You have to quickly make your choice now!
Go to chapter 2 - Run away from the nightclub.
Go to chapter 3 - Run back to your familiar friend.
