Rainy days [Haikyuu!!]

"Kageyama!" He turns around to look at you

"What is it, [L/N]?" You run to him while you put your phone into your bag.

"Can we go home together? I don't bought my umbrella"

"Why not? Come on, get in"

"Thank you, Kageyama!" On your way to go home, it was just too quiet. Yeah, awkward silence. So you tried to start a conversation.

"Kageyama.. How was your practice today?"

"Well, fine, I guess. How about your meeting?"

"Just like always, it's so tiring..." You get a bit hyped because he keep the conversation going.

"Must be hard on you, being the vice-president"

"Well... I want to stop, but that would be unresponsible. So I won't!" He laughed a bit

"W-what is it?! You dumbass! Why did you laugh, idiot?!"

"So dumbass or idiot, pick one, stupid" he stopped laughing but still keeping his smile

"I can say whatever I like! Then, why are you laughing?"

"No, it's nothing. It's just... When I thought about it, well, that's what I like about you..."

"EH?!" You stopped walking and look to the ground.. Some rain poured into you, Kageyama realized this and stopped walking too.

'Wait, did he just say he liked me?! Did I hear it wrong? We're just close classmates.. Maybe not 'that' kind of like? But.. If he really likes me... What should I answer? ..What kind of feelings that I have for Kageyama..? The truth is... I know it... For a long time.. I.. actually....'

"Oi, get in the umbrella, idiot. You'll get sick!" He walks up to you because you won't budge from that point and shares his umbrella to you, you actually think about it, confessing to him. Should you do it now? Since you got the chance.. Why not?

"Ka-Kageya--" You looked up to see Kageyama's face. When you did that he was already looking at you. So you get hesitated a bit. Then, you tried to hold his hand with an umbrella in his hand, resulting the two of you holding the umbrella with your hand on his hand.

"I.. Actually I.." You couldn't get to say what you want to say.. You couldn't let it out.. You tried to hide it by averting your eyes to the hands on the umbrella

"I--" You tried to say it with a loud voice so he could hear it and you closed your eyes in reflex

"I like you" You widened your eyes when you heard those words, but those words doesn't come out from your mouth. You looked to Kageyama and see he's covering his blushing face with his hand..

"Eh.." To think that he confessed to you, it was just so shocking.

"W-why.." you ask him out of curiosity or rather, you don't know what to say and just blurted it out

"No-- I mean, I know it! I know you don't li--"

"Uh-huh." You said with a bit nod and your face looking at the ground

"Eh?" He looked at you confused

"I don't like you.." You look up at him and smiled a bit sadly at him

"Oh.. Then.. It's o--" you could feel that he's getting embarrassed by what you said, maybe because he thinks that he's gonna be rejected by you and his face is getting more sad by the seconds as his confused face is faded

"But! You know what? The truth is.... I love you..... So much" You smiled at him again, but it's not the same smile as the earlier smile. This time, it was a happiness smile.
