Rainy days [Haikyuu!!]

Iwaizumi Hajime

You take out your shoes from your locker on the floor and put it on. You look at your right to see the outside. You sighed after you saw it. It was raining. The rain isn't too bad. It just a small rain, after all. But you open your umbrella, just in case.

Then you realized the person beside you opened his umbrella too, and swing it slowly so you can't see his face for a while. He put his umbrella handle (?) On his shoulder revealing his face. He turned around to see you, looks like you surprised him.

"Ah. [L-L/N]-san.. Umm Wanna go home together, maybe?" You nodded slightly smiling a bit at him make him blushing.

You knew where is his house located, it's just some walks away from your house after all even though you two were just classmates. You always seeing him with Oikawa, for some reason, you don't really like Oikawa. Your friends probably liked him for his face, and he stands out more than anyone. But you kinda admired him because of his talent in Volleyball. That's all. But more than that, you liked Iwaizumi because no matter how stands out Oikawa is, he can keep your gaze at him. You couldn't even take your eyes off him. In your eyes, it looks like Iwaizumi is more stands out than Oikawa. In your eyes, that is.

Even now, you couldn't take your eyes off him, not for a second. They said, if you look at a person for 3 seconds straight, you will know if you really like them or not. You really wanted to know, but he never really looking at you. When you two accidently exchange glances at the same time, he always turns around so fast. You couldn't even see his face.

"Iwaizumi-kun.. Can you look over here for a bit?" He turns around but he's adverting his gaze somewhere else, making you pout. "W-what is it, [L/N]-san?" You started to glare at him hinting him to look at you, but he didn't take it.

"Hmph-- Ah. Hey, Iwaizumi-kun... What did you think about love?"

"E-eh?! Why did you ask that so suddenly?!" "No reason, just curious, I guess.." He sweatdropped at you maybe because your answer is half-asses, only because of your curiousness, but he wanted to know. There's no one asking something like that without an ulterior motives, right? So he tried to push you a bit further. "Don't lie, I know you're lying just now"

You take a glance at him with a are-u-serious face. Probably. "Uhm.. Well, there's this guy.. I kinda have a crush on" he flinched at your mention about 'this guy' thing. He didn't want you to continue. "He always got my attention, making me never leave his figure, never..." You smiled softly at the thought of him. 'Is it Oikawa? It probably is. Her attention... It definitely Oikawa'. "Well, do your best" you turned around to see him.

You realized it.

TICK

He felt bitter-sweet in his mouth.

You knew he faked a smile for you.

TOCK

He finally looking at your direction.

You can finally see his face looking at you.

TOCK

He can talk at you without turning around.

Without adverting his gaze

You widened your eyes when you actually realized it. 3 seconds. It's your turn to turn your face around right now. You could feel your face is technically burning now. You hide your face with your hand. While your face still looking at the ground.

You like him

"Oi, [L/N]-san, what happened, are you alri--" He hold your wrist that hide your face and pull it so he could see your face while he asks you, tried to atleast before he realized your red face. You couldn't hide it. But then you could see his face starting to get red too. "I-Iwaizumi-kun..? A-are you alright..?" "That's my line, idiot! Being so cute so suddenly like that. You almost make my heart stopped" he said that while turned around trying to hide his face, he failed miserably though.

"Then it really is my line, your heart almost stopped didn't you?" You ignored the 'cute' part. Because you must be hearing things, you thought. You giggled at him, you mean, look at him. Even his ears getting red too. But then he sighed and closed his umbrella making you surprised.

"I-Iwaizumi-kun?! What are you doing? You will catch a cold!" You said worrying about him, but he stopped your hand when you wanted to share your umbrella with him. Making him more wet from the rain. You look up at him confused. He seems to take a deep breath.

"[L/N] [F/N], I've liked you for all this time, would you go out with me?" You're surprised at his words but the rain-- "This isn't the time to do that! Just put on your umbrel--"

"If your answer is yes, please share your umbrella with me. If your answer is no, please leave as soon as you can." He said calmly but he probably screaming inside, maybe about how uncool and lame is that. Though you think it was kinda cute.

"I'm sorry, Iwaizumi-kun. But I won't ever leave you.. There's no way I can leave the person that always takes my attention in here, right?" You said smiling at him. The one that would make anyone screaming at you. The one that looks like Oikawa's but different. Because this one is genuine. His face turned red before he smiled back at you. Then the two of you shared your umbrella together.

Extended ending?

You : "but, Iwaizumi-kun, you have your own umbrella, aren't you? Why don't you use it?"

Iwaizumi : "Well yeah, but doesn't this one seems better? It's smaller"

You : "No, that's the problem here, because it's small. The two of us have a hard time to fit in."

Iwaizumi : "Yeah, that makes us have to be close too each other right? If we're using mine or I'm using my own, we will have to walk kinda far away from each other.."

You : "Wha-- what is that?! Iwaizumi-kun is a pervert~! He wants to get close to me~ Should i call a police?"

Iwaizumi : "What? Don't do that, idiot. Fine I will use my own umbre--"

You : "Don't. Please stay here"

You tugged at his sleeve to keep him staying in your umbrella. Your face getting more red while he stares kinda surprised at your sudden change of attitude. But when your hand went to get back to it's position before, it slightly touched Iwaizumi's hand. He held your hand and intertwine it with his hand. You looks up at him and see him smiling at you, you smiled back at him and held his hand tighter.

And after you two realized your surrounding, the two of you actually missed your houses already, making you two embarrassed at each other and going back. Well, now you two some more time together
