It took a lot of convincing and snacks on my part for the group to listen to what I said.

Apparently Nyanko-Sensei looks like he eats people on the regular. Or maybe it's just his personality.

Honestly I'm not surprised that Sensei's silence was once again bought by snacks though.

Shortly after, Nyanko-Sensei and I went back to our dorm. He immediately claimed my bed pillow.

"Natsume! You should go raid the kitchen cupboards for food."

"You were just eating though."

"Your point is?"

"You'll get more overweight- Hi Hiragii- than you already are."

"I'm not overweight! It's fur! FUR!"

"If you're fine living in denial then sure. Wait- HIRAGII?"

"Hello."

"How long have you been there?"

"Idiot you were the one who noticed her first!"

"I have been here since you were kidnapped."

"It wasn't a kidnapping."

"It looked like one."

"You aren't helping Sensei."

"I never said I was trying to."

"So what can we help you with?"

"I have a message from Natori-sama."

"Oh okay. What is it?"

"The message is the following; So well, your principal is a bit. . .eccentric, and he told me something quite interesting. If you are free after your classes tomorrow I'd like to talk to you about a lead I got. If you're not free, no worries. I'll see you tomorrow."

Did he assume I'd be free tomorrow after class? Now that I think about it,

"Hiragii, why couldn't he tell me himself? Is he busy?"

"He is not. He said he thought you would prefer this way in order to avoid embarrassment."

"Embarrassment?"

"Idiot! He'd have to go through the building security and the other rooms to get here! Not to mention it's after hours!"

Why would him walking through the building to get to my room embarrass me . . ?

Nyanko-Sensei starts laughing at me,
"Do you not remember? Some of your classmates already think he's your boyfriend and he's going to your room past curfew?"

"I- We're not even dating! Why would they think that type of thing would happen-"

". . ."

"Nyanko-Sensei, what did you tell them?"

"Just how you guys met and how we'd go on trips together all the time. I left out the exorcising youkai part so don't worry."

"No wonder they mistook you guys for a couple with that information. You literally fall into his arms nearly every time you are together."

"Hiragii, you're not making the situation any better."

"I was here simply to deliver a message, not provide emotional support."

Why does it seem nobody is trying to help me clear up all these misunderstandings?

"Alright then thank you for telling me Hiragii. Is there anything else we can help you with?"
