𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐉𝐎𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 the time you got to spend with Xiao. You thought for sure that the two of you were growing closer. He now ate lunch with you and Kazuha. The two of them seem to hit it off, though it was practically impossible to dislike Kazuha.
From the train station, you and the dark edgy boy would walk to school together.
This morning, you and him stoped by the convenience store the two of you would go to occasionally. It was on the way to school so it wasn't any hassle. You would usually get a meat bun for yourself, while Xiao got onigri (rice balls(like in fruits basket :D)).
You had looked up some easy foods to digest, and white rice was one of them. It was you that suggested it to him, it made you slightly sad that he couldn't enjoy some of the same foods you did.
The two of you were now back on track, walking towards school. You guys were almost going to be late now. Sadly, the meat buns had not been made right away, so you had to wait for that. And since there was going to be a fresh load of them, you decided to get a bag full in case Kazuha wanted any.
You had a meat bun in your mouth and the bag being held by one arm. You started picking up the pace in your walking because you didn't want to risk being late.
You weren't too far from your school now, you could see it in the distance.
Xiao was not too far behind, he was in the middle of eating his onigri.
Or so you thought.
Once you realized that you didn't hear any footsteps behind you, you turn around to see your friend way behind you. He was kneeling down on the pavement. He looked like he was.......feeding something?
"Xiao! We gotta go!" You yelled.
You rushed over to where he was and saw a small bunch of cats sitting in front of him. Your eyes softened at the sight of them. They looked dirty, and they were so thin.
Xiao was feeding them, he gave them his last onigri. The cats seemed pleased at the kindness given to them. Just then, you bent down and took out a meat bun and split it in two. You placed the two half's in front of the cats.
You glance over in Xiao's direction to see the smallest smile on his face. He held his hand out as one of the cats sniffed it, then brushed its head on it. Xiao pet the cat so gently. You had never seen him act so lovingly before.
