𝗜𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗘 of days since you made the deal with your upperclassmen. You had already filled out the sign up sheet with your names on it. It hadn't taken long for word to get around that Zhongli was paired up with two other people in a lower grade. That was sure to catch people's attention. Before, you blended in with everyone. No ones attention was on you, and you were just living your high school life peacefully. But now, you would occasionally get approached by other girls, Zhongli's fangirls to be exact. You also noticed Xiao getting more attention himself.

To be honest, you really disliked it.

Especially the Xiao part. Sometimes girls would come up to him, trying to flirt or ask him to hang out. Perhaps you were jealous, no, you were jealous. Though every time someone would ask him to hang out, he would rudely decline. It was kind of like what he did to the girl a few days ago in class.

You kind of liked that he would reject other girls instantly, but hang around you most of the time. When you thought about it, Xiao really wasn't one for small talk. His people skills definitely needed some work.

You noticed he definitely had some admirers, not like Zhongli's though. It's not like you could blame them for having a liking to him. He was pretty handsome.

You were in homeroom, so your seat was right in front of Xiao's. You heard a lot of whispering around the class and you had a feeling you knew what it was about.

"Hey," one of your classmates approached you, "are you really in a group with Zhongli-senpai?" It was the same girl that approached Xiao asking him to be in her group.

You felt uncomfortable and annoyed since she wasn't the first person to ask you that. And you had a feeling what she was going to ask next.

"Yeah..." you answered.

"omg it is true! so you wanna trade?" She asks.

Of course.

You weren't gonna lie to yourself, you would trade if you could. If it meant you wouldn't be harassed like this anymore. But since you had a "contract", as Zhongli likes to call it, you didn't want to break it. You would also feel bad cause you and Xiao were basically their escape from the girls.

Before you could answer her, someone cut you off.

"It's none of your business. Leave her alone." Xiao said.

Right on cue!

"I wasn't talking to you." She said rudely.

But then you cut her off,

"I'm not trading partners. Besides, we already wrote our names on the sign up sheet. Sorry." You tried to be as polite as possible. Trying to hide how annoyed you were.

"Jeez, you just want to be in a group with all boys. You know the rooms are separated by gender, right?" With that, she walked away and didn't say anything else.

Since it was winter now, you, Kazuha and Xiao had to find somewhere else to eat. The three of you decided to eat lunch in Kazuha's classroom. You didn't really like your class anyways. Besides, you liked Kazuha's class better. You thought the people were nicer, unlike the girl this morning.

You and Xiao had to move desks to make a little table for the three of you to eat. You moved a desk beside Kazuha's, while Xiao moved another desk to sit in front of the both of you; with his back facing the chalkboard.
