Rain

"Oh my good, he's crying", "come on! Lost boys don't cry!". I saw a bunch of lost boys standing around Will, a brown haired boy around 14 years old.  I got down from the branched I sat on, in a three that was a little out sighted from camp.

I walked over to Peete, he wasn't doing anything about it. "Aren't you gonna do something about this?". I said with anger in my low but clear voice, he looked up at me like I woke him up from a trance. Felix sat beside him, but he didn't give attention to me to us. Sometimes he was the only lost boy I could stand, respecting other's business. But I could tell he was listening, reedy to step in if necessary.

"Is this really how you take care of your boys?". I had to breath before I continued, he opened his mouth to defend himself. "But they have to...". He started before I cut him of. "No, they don't!" "They're your responsibility" I was towering over him, he got up to face me. But it didn't help, I was still taller than him. He made a quick glance at the boys, he wanted to do something with it. He didn't move, like he wasn't able to move towards them.

I sighted at his action, and started to walk towards the gang of boys surrounding Will. "Oh leave him alone, will you!" I practically screamed at them, they turned around when they heard me. There was a little room of silence before they started to attack me.

"Oh look who it is!" One of them said, walking towards me. "Our one and only lost girl". He looked me up and down, he was uncomfortable close to me. "Coming to our boy Will's rescue". The boys laughed, to be saved by a girl was hilarious and embarrassing for them. "First you're crying, and now you're gonna be saved by a girl. That's like so embarrassing". They laughed at Leonard, Will just got more and more ashamed.

"Okay Okay". I said clearing my through. "Firs of all", I took a step back. "I'm not a lost girl, at least not as long as this is how you treat each other!" These boys were defiantly not used to get talked back to, so this was a chock to them. "You're supposed to be one big family! Is this really how you treat your family?" He took a step back, "You're supposed to be brother's, threating each other with respect. NO. MATTER. WHAT!" I could feel Peete and Felix's eyes on me, they were really enjoying this.

"And second of all, I'm not a "GIRL"! I'm non binary you bumbling baboon! And I would expect that you would respect that!" I stepped closer to him, making him step back. "And third of all! EVERYBODY CRYES! It shouldn't come as a weak or embarrassing thing! There is no shame in crying". Leonard looked a bit frightened, but still chose to talk back. "Well, boys shouldn't cry anyway! It's embarrassing, and having to be saved by a girl. I mean, come on right?" It was all against me, well except Peter and Felix.

I looked back at my brother that had sat down besides Felix again, they both turned their heads away when I looked back. I looked back at Leonard with a smirk, oh he was gonna hear it now! "That's INTERESTING". I said with a fake confused look. "What do you mean INTERESTING?!". "That's not what you said last week?" A moment of silence fell upon camp, I continued. "It was Saturday, right? When I found found you lost in the echo caves?" "SHUT UP". I just ignored him and continued. "Yeah, that's what you said when I found you laying on the ground. Crying because you couldn't find your way out". "You told me repeatedly 'EVERYBODY CRIES' and ran of into the woods as soon as we got out". Oh he was so embarrassed of this, But I wasn't quite done yet. He tried to defend himself . "But at least I don't need saving from a girl" "I'm not here to save anyone, I'm here to tell you to fuck of and show your brothers a little more respect and fucking kindness". I practically screamed at him, I gave him a light push but enough to get him out of the way. "Oh and you know what's even worse than being "saved by a girl"?" I said sarcastically, he looked me up and down like I was a Fucking tart. "Having a "Girl" tell you to fuckings fuck of, you pretentious duchbag". Everyone else laughed, I could sense Peete and Felix's smirk's. I pushed Leonard aside and went to sit on the log next to will, everyone else just left us. "Hey,don't listen to them. There's no shame in crying". He didn't even look at me, "Did you see Leonard's face?" "Yeah... It was awesome". I giggled a little, he gave me a little smile. Right then the rain started to fall "I like to think that rain is tears of nature". He looked at me with a interested sweet look, all the others are running to their tents in groups. "And if something as great as nature is allowed to cry, so are you". He looked at me as if I had just said something extraordinary, he gave he a hug before he rushed to a tent. I just sat there, enjoying the rain making my hair heavy. Leaning a little back so my hair was hanging and my face also got hit by the many gentle rain drops.

"Princess" I heard someone say behind me, I knew exactly who it was. "Felix Felicis". I responded as Felix sat down next to me, but facing the opposite direction. "What does that even mean?" I never really told him what the potion did, or that it was the same as Liquid Luck. That was what I usually call the person I'm totally in love with when I talk with the other boys."Meh, it's not important". I said laying my head on his lap, he started to brush his fingers through my wet hair. And I started to lightly hum, I closed my eyes and felt safe for the first time in a long time. " comfortable?" Felix asked me, "safe" I responded, his hand moved down to my cheek. And he cupped one side, and rubbed his thumb over my cheek and lightly touched my lips. "What? Wanna kiss them?" I said jokingly laying comfortably on his lap. "We should probably go inside". He said kinda nervous, I didn't move. "It's a storm coming". He said to get me of his lap, and I sat up. But he's right hand was still cupping my cheek, I took my hand and took slid it off still holding his hand. He grabbed my other hand  and stood up dragging me up closer to him.
