Tzuyu steps back to the steady ground, mud mildly smudged under the shoes. The dimple on her cheek peers, her eyes trains at the firefly now with a friend flies smoothly above the unperturbed lake that has few lilies floating. A sense of something steals her attention, she gazes around the surroundings. Taehyung is sitting a couple of yards, left from where she stands. He is staring at her with deer-like eyes, big and pure in innocence. "Um" she reacts little, mildly surprised. Taehyung purses back his lips, nodding one time for a greeting for which she nods back before the two of them watches the steady water and fireflies in silence. She gulps as though the fireflies no longer her full attention. So does he, whose pupils are being pulled to the corner to see her. The atmosphere cold, dim and awkward.

"You can't sleep?" Tae asks in a calm manner a little while later. Her head turns to the left, wearing little shy smile "Yes" before staring forward again. "Same, I feel strange- or because of the sleeping bags? They feel kinda hard" he honestly gives a review. She quietly puffs a silent single laugh, understanding that 'strange' feeling why the two of them can't sleep. They are few meters above the sea level, in a new environment that they have yet acclimate with.  Maybe tomorrow it will get better for they will be more used to it. Loud croak from a frog reaches their hearing. Tzuyu's shoes buries mildly underfoot, she took a step back.

"The soil might be soft there. Don't you want to stand here instead?" Says Tae, hint of concern concealed behind his calm voice. She turns to him, staring as though a little bemused by his invitation. Taehyung has been quiet and, (eventhough he doesn't say) as though formed a chasm between their friendship. This moment, he is surprisingly letting her near. She can't help but to pause, the soil is getting soft but at the same time he could have been just forced to deal with her when the truth is he needs an alone time. Most importantly, what he said back on the beach..

Taehyung says sincerely "I don't bite. But mosquitos does" the planted subtle smile over his face tells as though 'Don't worry, I won't do anything'. She goes forth towards the left, hands pocketed because of the cold. He is sitting on a rock, compared to her previous spot his is cleaner, resembling a bald spot for plants around the lake. A stick is clasp on his palm loosely, pointing the ground. She remembered, he was scared wandering about alone, considering they are in the forest, the stick is his best source of protection. Taehyung is on sweater with a jacket over it, sweatpants and shoes. Black from head to toe, except the red bracelet he has on wrist. She sat down on a rock as well. Once again, there's silence. Smoke alike mist is eating up the trees across them. No time soon it will plague the lake as well. The fireflies are in chaos, fluttering their little wings as fast as they can but still falls short because they merely glow like decoration lights on december.

"Why did you go out alone?" his deep voice penetrates the tranquility. "sometimes it could not be safe going round the forest at this hour. You should've went with Teudoongie-deul or wake up Jungkook" dad mode with his concerned eyed glued on her.

"They were sleeping soundly. And Jungkook must've been tried, we hiked and he chopped woods for the bonfire" said, she "I'm not scared. Besides no will go in the mountain with zero visibility, only us" putting emphasize to the thick fog growing everywhere. Fading every other mountains they saw at the top hours ago along with trees in place, out of view. Chuckles goes out of Tae "Good thinking" tone, hit by realization sort.  "It should be fun stargazing at the mountain" mutters, she staring up at the dark grey sky where thick clouds blotted out the stars. Taehyung smiles little "Our timing is perfect for the fog. The stars are hiding tonight" jokingly. Now it's her time to laugh.

Further away, the camp is in peaceful silence. Every person in tents lingering at the oblivion. Ample warmth supplied by the heating slowly becoming frail head of the howling of the wind. The creaking branches, rustling leaves cuts into Jihyo and Jin's restful sleep. Fabric of the tent waving inwards at the violent blow of wind. Jihyo gently pats Momo, who was hugging a pillow on her sleep. "Momo-yah wake up" says Jihyo urgently, normal tone of voice instead of hush. "Why?~" groggy Momo, hardly opening eyes. "The wind is too strong. Is this still normal?" her eyes observing the flapper of their tent pushing inwards because of the wind.  Just a few seconds, Momo sits up like her with heavy eyelids fully shook to consciousness by a sound similar to clothes being slapped in the air, their tent fighting against the rock of winds in sorts of direction.
