Chapter 2

I sighed in frustration as I walked into the courtyard that lead to my favorite coffee shop. I had on sunglasses and my pink and blue curls. Candylike beads and lace combclips patterned my hair. I wore a ton of braclets. Frilly t-shirt and short shorts with pastel pink and blue tights. My mini ankle boots clicked. People were staring at me. Not surprising. Me and Keigos song "Tell me Tell me...baby" hit high in the charts. I had seen it on the news the past two weeks. The reviews were on us both at first. Now they just left me out of it. It was all about Keigo now. People would say; 'Keigos vocals in the song are raw and emotional.' 'Ive never heard that from him before!'
Then now it was 'But why put a girl in there?' 'I mean honestly?' 'Yeah who're they kidding?' 'Candacote WHO now?'
Laughter was all I had gotten. That had been at then of the first week after the recording. What did I do in response? Why I released a new song. And it hit the charts next to Keigos and mine's duet. My song was called:
"MY WAY"

"My Way" was getting tons of trafic from the females. I laughed softly as I thought about the post I had done with it. It had gone like this:
"Hey hey all! Candy Cotten here! My new song is dropping today. It's called 'MY WAY'.
I'm directing it to the very 😚 RUDE newscasters for getting my name wrong on purpose while they reviewed MY and Keigos song.
I will say this I HATE IT when I'm ignored.

I had logged off after that.
My comments went threw the roof. I had put my song link at the bottom and I had NOT put the tell me tell me baby link there. That wouldve been plain stupid.

The newscasters reviewed my song. Let's just say...they didn't like it very much. They were ruder then before. So...I released another at the end of the second week after the recording session with Keigo. So that release date was yesterday. The song?
Well I named the song this:

"KINGS & QUEENS"

I uploaded it at 1am and left this message.

"Hey hey All! Candy Cotton here! It's 1am in the morning and I just dropped a new song!

I wrote it for all the ladies out there who dont get the recognition they deserve. Aren't you tired of waiting around for a man to save you? We're told to do that since we're young. 'Just wait honey your Prince will come and save you'. But I say Uheh! NOT ANYMORE! It's time we stepped up and saved ourselves. It's time we be ourselves. It's time to leave those who doubt our capabilities in the dust. Leave those who don't listen just because were not men. Leave us because we are too weak because were not strong. Pah! Please. I won't stand for being treated like a damsel anymore. Not anymore. I say to all those who just see me as some cute trophy barbie... 'Kiss. My. Feet. Bow down to me. I had uploaded that and logged off. By the time I had fallen asleep. It had been 3am. My alarm was set for 6am. So I only got 3hrs of sleep. I aslo never saw the results of my upload.
