Albedo paced absently, waiting for Kaeya to return. "Where are you..." Albedo asked himself, checking his phone for what felt like the thousandth time that night. He pocketed his phone, deciding he would just go see if Kaeya was at the tavern again. After tugging on a sweater and grabbing his self defence keychain, Albedo walked out the door. He walked towards the tavern, trying to ignore the smell of alcohol that lingered around the tavern. Pushing the wooden door open, Albedo saw something he never thought he'd walk in on. "K-Kaeya..?" Albedo mumbled, tears threatening to spill.
What did Albedo see you ask? Well, it was Kaeya kissing some random girl. Kaeya shoved the girl off of him, stumbling after Albedo. "You're a liar. You PROMISED." Albedo hissed. " 'Bedo, it wasn't what it looked like, I swear!" Kaeya said, chasing after Albedo. "No, I get it. You don't have to explain. I know what I saw." Albedo said, facing his back to Kaeya.
Albedo started his way back home as Kaeya followed after him. "Albedo! Please, she shoved herself on me!" Kaeya pleaded. "And do you have proof?" Albedo spat. "Yeah! Diluc saw the whole thing." Kaeya said. Albedo sighed and turned on his heels. "Fine." He hissed, and trotted back to the tavern doors.
"Diluc. What just happened?" Albedo asked, sounding like he was about to lash out at anything that got in his way. "Oh, some asshole started flirting with Kaeya. When he said he was taken, she just said 'she doesn't have to know' and then Kaeya said that it was a guy -you- and she went on about how that was wrong." Diluc started. "She then said she'd make him straight and forced herself onto Kaeya... Eww." Diluc mumbled. Albedo seemed some mix of upset and pissed off. "That bitch." He muttered and gave a half-assed thank you before stalking out the door. "Sorry I misunderstood." Albedo said, letting himself fall into Kaeya's arms.
Kaeya nodded and pulled Albedo closer against his body. "It's okay." Kaeya replied, rubbing Albedo's back. "Let's go home." Albedo mumbled, clinging to Kaeya's shirt. "Sure." Kaeya replied, picking Albedo up and carrying him back to their house.
