Today was like everyday but today I got my chores done early. My brothers had been grounded so they had to do their own chores today which meant I basically had a whole day to do what I wanted. Of course I wanted to read my books but I didn't know where to read them at. The house was loud at the time because my brothers were there. I  couldn't go to the town because it was always loud there. My only option was the woods. My parents weren't home and my brothers weren't paying any mind to me so what was stoping me? I decided I was going to go to the woods to read but not to deep into the thick trees. When I got the the edge of the fields and the woods I stopped to question myself "is this actually a good idea"? I came to the conclusion this was the only silent I would have so I went in. To my surprise there was a calm river within the woods. It was beautiful and a perfect spot to sit. Around four o'clock I went home because surely enough my parents should have been home. When I got there mama was already cooking dinner and papa was reading the daily paper. I decided to ask some questions since I had the time today. I asked them where they usually went during the day and they told me they traveled to the next town to buy seeds for our fields. I guess that answered two questions because I always wondered where our seeds came from. They also told me one of our neighbors told them I did all the chores so they got on the the boys about it and from now on I won't do it alone. This was great news for me because now I could read more. They asked me what I have been reading lately and I told them history books to save the lecture about fairy tail books and how they are not educational and will not help me learn how to take better care of the animals or fields. The next day after my chores I went back to the spot in the woods by the river but I noticed something different that I didn't notice yesterday probably because I was to into my book....
